Lately, i have been watching less anime than i used to...this is because im more games incline now...but occasionally i do post some anime impression on my blog.

So i'm looking for anime lovers - series/movies etc...to write impression/reviews for my blog...

Wordpress DDoS attack

For the past week or two have a been a nightmare for me. My existing blog haven had triple in numbers of hits thus rendering my server to a halt.

The infamous 500 error have hit me! I have searched wordpress.com and wordpress.org and countless site regarding this matter. Most of the time the overloading is cause by spambots.

I'm running 3 spam plugins on my blog - Spam Karma, Bad behaviour and Akismet but it looks like they got thru somehow.

Because of this i'm unable to even load the URL and because of this any modifcation is hard to implement. But ocassionally i have access for a few minutes then the overload page error will appear again!

Since i'm stoopid with codes or php, i'm now struggling to find a remedy for this issue.

Some blogger did send me some php hacks to curb the hit frequency based on page viewed. Before i do any modification on my code i need to ask for anyone who have experience this and is there any other options?

I'm thinking of buying an Amp for my AV setup home. I will use the Amp to connect my;

PS3-HDMI
PS2-component
DVD - component - if possible HDMI
Astro - composite

I'm also do a lot of videogames gameplay capture using a S-Video connection ( USB PVR )

Any recommendation on the setup with my little budget. I was thinking taking the Sony HTDDW780 or HTDDW670...
