URGENT Need information

Need advice from you guys
if anyone here work in telekom , even better.

I currently staying in this apartment which already has a phone line and streamyx connection.
My housemate, the owner is moving out and plan to relocate the phone line and streamyx. he's submitting the request tomorrow.

I would like to know

1. How long does TM take to relocate phone line to a new address ?
2. after relocation, does my current apartment be put into a "somewhat" cooling period that don't allow anyone to register phone line for this my current address for a certain period of time ?
3. If my housemate submit the request to relocate, can I register for a phone line and expect it to be ready in the next few days?
4. i'm staying in setapak indah. which TM point should i go to? titiwangsa or setapak?
5. i also wish to get connected to streamyx asap when the phone line is up.

Please advice.

p/s: if anyone who has mobile broadband and not using it for the month e.g march... lease it to me for a month =p
just need to stay online until i get my streamyx

for the first time i notice such IP when i checked my router.
at my apartment in KL.. sometimes i get IP that start with the number 124.xxx.xxx.xxx

I heard that in some country, when a person's phone got stolen, they can inform telcos and have their phone locked by rejecting IMEI number even different SIM from diff telco is inserted.

Is this possible in Malaysia?

I'm planning to share internet connection with my neighbour.

Point to point distance estimated around 30-40m.

I have a Aztech 605EW & a DLINK 5 port Hub (not a switch)

A link will be made from 605EW to the DLINK hub 30-40m away. From there , I need another 2 more cable around 10m in length from the Hub to 2 laptops.

So, basically what I need is

1 x 40m cable (Modem >> Hub)

2 x 10m cable (Hub >> Laptop)

Windows Update

Here da situation...

I was trying to manual update my PC @ Windows Update site.... after clicking on either Express or Custom, WU will scan for updates to be downloaded.

The prob that i'm having is that, after the scan, I tried to click on the Software & Hardware updates link on the left menu. But instead of showing updates, the link that i clicked opens the default WU page inside the main frame.

Anyone experiencing similar problem???

FYI, I'm using ori windows XP..

Any help would be much appreciated~~ Thanks

I'm sorry if i posted this in the wrong section.. i dunno where to post this...

Anyway,
I own a CoolPix P4. I had problem using the cam for quite some time already.

Need help from pros here..

Prob :-

1. Whenever I try to preview some photos, it says File Contains No Image Data.
What could be causing this ??

2. Sometimes when I wanted to take pictures... the screen indicator missing and the cam hang. Anyone experience this before?

This problem actually occured 2 days after i bought it from the PC Fair last year. Never really got the time to send it for warranty.

Any idea what's wrong with it?

Hi guyz...

i'm a newb in blogging and my blog only has a few readers... probably due to the freq of my post as I only post when i have the time...and when i have access to the Internet...
