Hi, I'm finally splitting my personal garage thread into categories, from my original thread here. This will be specifically for PC games and video games related items, it will take some time to migrate/add/improve stuff over there to here, mean while have a look at my stuff, thanks.

Hi,

On behalf of my guild, looking for people who plays Order in Ironclaw, name of the guild is "Vosian", which is diverted from Goda Vos(name of guild when we were in Guild Wars)

Currently guild leader is Silverice.

Not much of rules to have currently, just a common courtesy not to be too rude, get along with locals(Malaysian) well, no restrictions on where you come from as long as you can fit in.

Setting up network + internet

Hi, I was total noob at networking a few years ago, with the help of a friend and some self banging on the settings, I finally get the hang of it, soon I was helping people setting up their networks and internet connections, but yesterday I'm dumb founded with the setting up an associate's SOHO network.

Router model used is DLink DSL2640-T
I had set up for 2 other friends using DSL2640-T before without problems.
DSL2640-T with Streamyx 512kbps
DSL2640-T with Streamyx 1.0Mbps

So I recommended my associate to get DSL2640-T too, setup is 2 PCs connected to a router and router to the internet, I used the setup CD from DSL2640-T to get going, first problem came when both the PCs didn't detect the modem(built-in DSL2640-T) within CD setup menu, so i went manually with 192.168.1.1 browser access into router and did the wizard within it, did streamyx account input and done, next I assign each PC with an 192.168.1.X, their default getaway 192.168.1.1, and DNS server add: 202.188.1.5 & 202.188.0.133 , after the setup the internet connection is dropdead slow, my associate can't tell if it was like this last time, the connection also unstable too, sudden disconnects and reconnects, sudden ok speed and dropdead speed.

DSL2640-T with Streamyx SOHO 1.0Mbps ADSL

Is there anything different in settings when setting up TM's SOHO accounts with DSL2640-T?
