Hi. This is my first time posting photos here. I am just a college student enrolling Creative Multimedia in SEGi College. Photography is one of my hobby. I have some shots to show you guys with captions, I'm trying to make up a story in this album actually. There is also some exposure problem on my camera.

The camera I used is Canon PowerShot A410.

So, please JUDGE me.

My upload speed!

I am a server, uploading videos for 24/7, I fully used my upload bandwidth since about a half year ago.

Yesterday night, my internet connection is getting worst, cannot surf some site (very slow and time outs, even LYN). and my upload speed is like very slow also.

This morning, wen surfing was okay only (not as good as usual). This afternoon, good (good as in good as usual) but upload speed still slow.

Till tonight I thought something is very wrong with my upload speed, I switched back to bridge mode (I was using a router) and check my internet speed. It shown that my upload speed is 64kbps!

So immediately call the customer service and report. Something is very wrong about the customer service.

"Press 3, for technical assistant"

I did press 3 and I think that the operator know things about technical. But , the operator tells me to restart the PC. Well, restarting a PC it won't make sense in networking, I said that to her with "normal high voice" then she said "okay" (like Mr. Chua's okay), then she ask me for the IP address (this is consider she know something about technical but to me she knows nothing about networking), I gave it to her and put me on hold to lodge the report. She said that the guy will reset my port, after that guy will call me up.

So I have another question for her about the T&C. I asked whether I can download something illegal or not, she said she can't answer that because she don't know. She tells me to speak with the level 2 staff. So, actually the level 2 staff is the staff who is going to call me after reset the port.

Well, my target is to bomb the level 2 staff. Bombing level 1 it's not effective. There, if there is one of the staff who switch my port from 512kbps upload to 64kbps, that staff will taste my bomb.

I subscribed to 1M/384k package. Auto upgrade to 1.5M/512k. Do I still have the chance to get back my sweet 512k upload?

EDIT: I'm using Linksys AM300 ADSL modem, D-Link 624+ router and DWL-G520 wireless adapter. Can it be the new Linksys AM300's problem? (since it's a very new modem).

Well, as usual I have to lie to them that I have flush my DNS setting, restarted my PC, direct connect the phone line and lie to them that I am using ZTE modem that they provided. (I think this isn't a problem).

I am using the streamyx supplied ZTE modem pairing with D-Link 624+ wireless router. And using D-Link wireless PCI card for my desktop. (Desktop at my upstairs room, playing LAN at home no problem and low latency)

I have do all the port forwarding for mIRC.

When I download a file from a XDCC server, the speed will shoot up to maximum like 80kb/s, when like about few seconds later, it will drop to 0kb/s and my download is fail. I have test with other XDCC server, also same.

My problem is, how do I fix this? I need to download the file from the XDCC server.

Alright, I've been folding very happily. But thinking of electric bill, I'm afraid it will pop up at high cost.

Is there any way that I can save electric bill while I fold 24/7/356?

Also, is there any recommendation about computer's specs like PSU, AVR, UPS?
