I'm looking for external flash recently, I found there are various type of flash gun, I'm using Fujifilm S5 Pro.

Any recommendations on flash gun?
My requirement is very simple, able to do wireless slave flash function.

Dear forumers,

I just wondering, is there any way to tune your DSLR's white balance (instead sitting on AWB)?
So far, I few methods to tune have been found on the internet; using expodisc, 18% gray card, and flash.

Any other better ideas you can share up?

Dear forumers,

Is possible to use a Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 Macro with a Fujifilm s5 Pro?
My case is, after attaching the lens to the body, it still can take shots, but I couldn't use the auto-focus and adjust the aperture (even in Aperture Mode or Shutter Mode)?

How to read .pcap?

Dear sifus,

I'm studying engineering, and i dont even know a heck of networking.

To be frank, recently i got a project which is to analyse the characteristic of network traffic.

Therefore, I have downloaded "wireshark" to monitor the packet flowing, after running a few minutes, i saved it, only save as -> .pcap

So, when i opened the saved .pcap file in text format, i couldnt read it, error reading (ie funny symbol)

just wondering, is there any method to (sort of like) decode the .pcap, so i can read the information (ie packet number, time etc) in the .pcap and convert it to .txt?

Hope you all can help me. I have searching for solution for 3 hours on net straight, no results.

Or is there any other alternative method to capture packet of your machine did and save it in txt file.

Dear folks,

It's noticed that there are different sizes of cds available in the market.

The most normal one 12cm, the other one we called it 'mini-CD' in size of 8cm.

I just wondering our 'sucking-style' combo drive can fit in mini-CD? will it jam inside? Later can't eject. As we knew that, normal CD can be perfectly fit into our DVD drive.

Any idea? Anyone tried it before?

Gaming Problem

Hi sifus, recently i have just bought new games to test on my iMAC 2.4 C2D, 1Gb Ram.

The game was installed under windows xp pro sp2.

The installation was fine, just that, after clicking to launch the game, it went into black screen.
After Control+Alt+Del, it showed that "Not responding".

I have tested a few old games, which bought it previously. I couldn't play it at all.
I have installed the latest version of DirectX 9.0c.

Did I miss anything?

I don't understand what's my problem. Can anyone guide me?

I'm planning to go over Australia to further my studies. But I have not gotten the offer letter from my University in Australia. So, no offer letter means no student visa.

So, I just wondering whether I can just go to Australia using tourist visa earlier one week (before the student visa is issued), once I have granted my offer letter (once I have my Offer Letter, means I have my student Visa, right? Since my university is helping me to do the student VISA), can I just switch it my tourist visa to student visa without coming back to Malaysia? (can understand what I mean or not, everyone?)

How to bypass "acquire license" on video/audio

Hi guys,

I have this annoying problem, which is, I got this "acquire license" problem.

Whenever, I want to play the video/audio, the media player will have wanted me to acquire license, which takes time (T_T)... How to bypass it? Problem is I couldn't download the license, so, every time when I want to watch/listen, I needed to do the same thing. (you guys know streamxx line slow la, even it's a broadband.., so it takes time to acquire the license)....

Any solution?
