I would like to know can I connect my 2 PC using this method? PC 1 with 2 NIC use for BT and PC 2 with 1 NIC for normal use. PC 1 will be running 24/7 while i only need to switch on the wireless router whenever i need to use PC 2. Thanks

streamyx -> modem (bridge mode) -> PC 1 (NIC 1) -> PC 2 (NIC 2) -> wireless router -> PC 2/ notebook (if any using wireless).

I know there are a lot of this IT professional course out there such from Microsoft, Cisco, Oracle and others. The thing is that all this course required to attend class. Is there any of these course that can have self study or online study. Only during exam need to go to class. Thinking of taking but yet to find one suitable.

Slow connection when using router

Modem: Aztech DSL600E
Router: Aztech wireless router
Firewall used: -

Problem details
First occurence of problem: Oct 06
Problem frequency: all connection
Problem description: Before this I have no problem using both my DSL modem and wireless router. After coming back from outstation this Oct, I find that my surfing (page not found if load multiple page) and torrent download (10-20 KBps only)slow down. I tried to reset my modem and router but it remain the same.

The I tried to remove my router. I connect just using my modem and the connect speed increase. No problem with surfing again and my torrent can reach 50-60 KBps).

I tried to reset my modem again and re-setup the connect but it remain the same. What seems to be the problem? Pls help. Thanks

Firefox eating up memory

I find that firefox 1.5 eating up a lot of my memory like around 50-80mb if i open around 6-8 tabs. Is this common or is there anywhere to reduce it?
