This evening when I woke up my msn shows a notification that my account is signed in from another location. So i suspect that my account is infected with virus and indeed it is. My friend told me I am sending spam msg which is below:

Mozilla can't save cookies

Guys I am using the latest Mozilla 3.08 and I just notice that I can't save cookies anymore. Everytime i close my browser I have to reenter all my username and password to the sites I visit like lowyat forum, facebook and youtube.

Anyone know how to fix this problem ?

Lightning Strike

Hey ppl, my dekstop pc and my wireless router just spoiled due to lightning strike.

Just want to ask how do i check whether which part of my dekstop pc is spoiled?

When i turn on the pc sometimes it can be on but sometimes can't. Even it is on nothing appears in the monitor only the sound of cpu running

1. Which motherboard to get as I am pretty confused with the difference between

Gigabyte EP45-UDP3 and EP45-DS3

Asus P5Q, P5Q-EM, P5Q-SE

2. WD 640GB with 16mb cache buffer price is around RM225 while Seagate 500gb with 32mb cache buffer is around RM210? Is there a big difference in speed between 16mb and 32mb?

3. Which brand for 4850 is better? prefer those that run cool and silence

4. Which shop in Lowyat can give a good bargain for all the items above? Preferably shop that I can get everything at once

I can't load the images in youtube ... I've tried all IE, Mozilla and even chrome ... all also can't load

PC unable to boot into windows

Guys, need some advice and help here...

Recently, one of the pc in my house is having problem going in to windows.. when i power on the PC, by right it should load and reached the windows xp logo screen and then go into windows....

but recently before loading the windows xp logo screen, a screen that displays a few options for me to select appears (I will try to provide a picture of it later) basically is the screen that prompt you to select either to enter safe mode, safe mode with networking, last known configurations and start windows normally....

when i came across this screen i will just select the start windows normally and it will load the windows xp logo screen.. here the problem came .. while loading the pc will auto restart and load back the same page .. and this process will repeat for a few times.. and sometimes i can get into windows after selecting the start windows normally option but the windows xp logo screen loading part is loading very slow before entering windows...

I suspect there are some problem with hardware but i don't know how to identify the problem.. hope someone can help me .. thx

SATA to PATA converter

I have a SATA2 160gb hdd ...

Recently my dekstop PATA hdd is dead so i am wondering is there any way for me to plug the SATA2 hdd to be used in my dekstop..

The thing is my motherboard does not support SATA ... So is there any device or converter for me to use the hdd on my dekstop?
