In a career dilemma

I'm in a career dilemma.

I am currently working in this small town in Perak.
I have started this job on part time basis since last December and commited into full time since mid of June upon my graduation.
My family is in Penang and my other half is at KL, I travel back to KL every weekend.
My boss has several very profitable businesses, he has the network and money, but, he is severely bad in financial management.
I am here as his direct assistant in managing the financial aspects of these businesses.
These businesses are easy to operate, hence my job does not demand for extreme knowledge or experience.

This job doesn't pay very handsome at this moment, but the chance for pay rise and business opportunity is huge.
The boss looks highly at me, he expects me to be his business partner in the future.

At the same time, I am losing my social life; my other half is complaining due to the job nature being at grey area and my absence from her.
I am struggling to make a decision.
I have practically no life here, and honestly, I do not learn things practically. Even if I'm being arranged to work closely with this former CFO of a famous corporation in a new business venture, I find that I am not equipped with the necessarily experience and skills to handle the new assignment.

I see the money factor here, but I would not be able to improve myself and most importantly, I am a family man, I could not stand to live alone and spend less time together with my girl.

I've failed a rental agreement for fruit stall

I want to start a fruit stall at this highly populated office area. There is this shoplots building in front of the offices.
Businesses for the existing restaurants/eateries there are VERY good.
I wish to open a fruit stall at area around which is owned by this Asset Management company.

I had a meet-up session with the PIC of the Asset Management company.
But sadly, they do not allow as cleanliness is a main concern for them. The prefer 'dry-based' goods such as clothing.
Even I guarantee them the stall cleanliness will be under strict management, he wouldn't agree.
However, the PIC asks me to prepare a proposal and he will 'try to' help me to convince his boss.
Preparing a proposal is not a problem but I afraid the chance of success is low.

Subletting is not an option as there is a clause in the agreement between the company and the restaurants.

As for now on, where shall I head to?
Advice needed.

I am a fresh graduate and I have tremendous interest in doing business.
I have been doing buying and selling online at small scale since 5 years ago.

I've chosen this location due to human traffic and I am confident in my product.
There is 6 blocks of shoplots, 2 university colleges and 1 office tower.
I do not have the actual population figure, but the number of people there is really a lot.

So far this location is my only choice as I could not find any other location which can offers this much of human traffic.
Hence, I cannot fail this negotiation.

However, after seeing the reaction of the PIC, I know the chance is low.
According to him cleanliness is a main concern, and he keeps rejecting me because my business nature brings dirt.
And one thing worth notice is, from the conversation I feel that he hinted me of bribery. I am not sure if my instinct is wrong.

This PIC reports to his boss who is at JB and worst case scenario, I will go down to JB and talk to him.

The rental rate for the clothings stalls there is RM100/day which is DOUBLE of my budget.

And still, more inputs needed for fellow forumers.

CRT Monitor screen keep shaking

My 7 years old SAMTRON 75E keep having its screen shaking in a very fast speed, but after I use my hand to hit on top of the monitor, it stays back stable and normal. But that would not last long, it will shakes again later on.
What might be the problem?

Car running without thermal stat

My car is running without a thermal stat at the moment, my foreman says there is no problem to run without a thermal stat, just that the performance of the car will be a lil bit off.
Are his words true?

PS: He quotes me RM90-100 for that thermal stat, I am driving a Toyota SEG, is it expensive?

Employment would not get you rich in 10 years in most of the cases, and I am planning to join the group.

Car temparature and Fan

Car Model:12 years old Toyota Corrolla SEG 1.6 (250,000km)

So the story is like this.
I drove about 200km today and the average speed on the highway was 110km/h (trip to KLIA from Kepong).
When I was about to reach my gf's home:

1. I heard 'tak tak tak' sound from my engine and the temperature meter hit red zone.
2. Stopped the car aside for 10 minutes and started the engine again.
3. After 1km, engine failed, stopped again but realised it was dangerous so drove the car hard to reach safe area(0.5km).
4. Stopped and rested for 20 minutes, then drove until gf's home again (1.5km).
5. Rested the car for about 2 hours.
6. Check water, it needed 4 liters to get full!
7. Go back home, 7km (get to red zone at the 6th km), and when I reached, I get down the car with engine on to check the fan, and it ain't working.

The fan here is the one which is nearest to the outside, I am not sure what fan is that.
Can I know what happened?

PS: Will go back to hometown tomorrow by bus and will leave the car here for about 10 days before I send it to mechanic.

A bug in COLOR and SIZE tag

When I am trying to edit my post which consists of quite a number COLOR and SIZE tag, the source messed up.
COLOR becomes SIZE and vice versa.
