[WTA] Graphics card

I would like to know which GFX card I can get with that price range?
Not for high end gaming, only at 1024X768 resolution.
Preferably from ATi and with 256MB. I do consider the memory technology as well.

Nothing too high tech coz it's only a Sempron 3200+.

Thank you!

What's the curent price for it now?
I have a rather old PC(2 yo) and the spec isn't great. My dad bought this one because he's afraid a more powerful one will make us tempted to buy more games for it, and it worked, we hardly play any on it.

But the speed is q bit frustrating if I were to start up an application so to minimize my blood pressure( ) I want things to start up just that little bit faster.

Not bothered to buy another one since I'm not a heavy user, and games are played on a dedicated console.
DDR2 is being phased out, I just hope here in Sabah, things are a bit slow and we still have some left. I want a 1GB one, but prices for higher RAM will be appreciated as well.

TQ!

UPDATE!:
I also want to know the price for a budget GFX. Preferably in the ATi Radeon series. I know of the X1300 and seems perfect but I dunno the local price for it.

Also anything with a higher spec but reasonable price hike would also be good.

Two of my friends have S40 devices(one is a 5610, the other I forgot, but a 6120?)

The story for both is quite similar. They let another person play with their phones and somehow locked it. They then tried to insert the security lock code number to regain access. Eventhough the code was correct, it won't work. One of them(the 5610) fixed itself within a week.

So is this an S40 bug?

I'm from KK Sabah and I'm trying to look for places that sells good audio equipment with a variety of brands for me to pick. Anything from headphones/earphones to high end speaker systems.

I'm having a hard time searching for models that I'd like to check out in person, especially ones like Sennheiser, Bose, Shure, Audio Technica, etc. etc. Sony, Phillips, Samsung I've already found, just that these other brands are hard to come by here.
So anyone from KK found any good audio equipment stores?

I'm an STPM science stream student waiting for results.
Anyways I set my first priority to automotive engineering. However for my other priorities I want to be in industrial design. However I dunno which uni is good at offering this course. So please advise.

To make it clear for some, industrial design is one who designs stuff like furniture, phones, speaker systems. They "design" how they look like but not the machinery that goes into it. They usually work with engineers to work on a product.

TQ!!

Myvi 1.0

I found this problem yesterday. I turned the key to and waited for that 'whirring' sound to go away before I start the car(as I usually do, BTW what's that sound anyway?) and then twist it a bit more to start. But the engine only chugs once, then nothing happens. It won't start.

The battery is only 3 years old. Cleaned out the terminals, nothing. No signs showing the batt is weak though, radio turns on, remote locking works, lights work, wipers work.

Memory card

A friend of mine tried to open a folder containing pics from his cam. But he says that the folder can't open and some kind of parametre error or something pops up. According to him he can't open it since the computer says the folder is empty. He wasn't very specific so this is all the detail he gave me. Anybody has any idea of what might be wrong?

Oh yeah. He says he tried on camera and mem card reader, no go. And the folder where he stores the file(DCIM, normally would in a camera) was hidden at first, had to select show hidden files to show it. That seems kinda weird since I've never find my folders hidden like that.

What do you guys think of

I've been thinking, the job of a designer in this country is not really a hot topic. In western countries, people can sometimes strike it rich with designs.
What do you think the situation is here?

I like designing stuff like cars, furniture and stuff. More specifically, I like to design cars. Drawing them up, making foam models, perfecting it, presenting it to the boss hoping that he likes it, and then he does, then see my creation rolls out of the factory.........yeah. So I was thinking this as a back up career you know, if things don't go as planned? UiTM offers such course as I recall, no?

Hi there people!

My friend lost her original SPM certificate. She's panicking a bit right now so I told her to calm down while I find a way to get a copy of her certificate.

Now I know the original copy is only printed once and we only get basically "carbon copies" of the original certificate. I googled and found the ways but I don't get the stuff like "surat sumpah" and what not. So I need a clear explanation on how she can get a new copy. We're in Sabah BTW so can't go there to get it in person.

Thanx everyone!!

Cuz I've got some music that are in FLAC format, and I don't want to sacrifice even a bit of its quality to convert it to a lossy format(like MP3), It's from my favourite band and I love the FLAC collection so much I want to bring it everywhere with me.

Anyways, I know there are 3rd party software that'll allow me to play FLAC, but I want to know some phones(preferably Nokia, but anything will do) that can run this format out of the box.

TQ.
