HDD problem

can any sifu here help me? i've got 2 HDD in my rig now. 1 is WD 160Gb and another one is seagate 160GB. i run my window with the WD and storage (2partition) for Seagate. now seems like there is problem with my seagate. both 2 partition cannot be seen in "my computer" it only list out the WD partition.

OMG! what happen? izit corrupted? i tried restart my pc and then i can see the seagate partition. when i try to open files from it then it will "hang". the pc freeze for few seconds. after that when comes back to normal both the partition will gone.

another thing i realise when im trying to trouble shoot is it seems to be an icon pop-out at the bottom right screen where the place that shows the clock. the icon is something like the icon that we click when we wanna move our pendrive. i click the icon and it shows safe removal of my seagate hdd. whats wrong? when i ignore it and continue access my hdd. i can click inside. but i can open the files inside.

please dont tell me my hdd is corrupted. i bought this segate end of 2005. if its corrupted i will lose a lot of DATAS!!!!!!

what do u guys think of Linksys WRT54G? there is 54GL and 54GS. whats the difference of it? im new in wireless. dont understand the specs. or do u guys have any better recommendation other than linksys wireless router? thanks in advance

im using cheapo audigy ls soundcard..using altec lansing 321 speakers...
now i wanna change setup which i plan to connect the pc audio to my old sansui amp...i wanted to have a better sound system for my pc...can anyone guide me how to do it?

hi thr...i really concern bout one of my fren working condition..here's the story..he's a diploma gradute of Quantity surveyor and he wrk in an construction company as his 1st job..since tat is his 1st job he cant expect anythg but to gain experience..the company works more on interior design works..after 1yr he quit coz he says kenot tahan the boss..then he was jobless and doin some freelance for few months until he join ths shipping company..

at 1st i was thking does a shipping company need a QS? well based on his description he's work is more like cost estimator wic is a.k.a QS oso..the problem occurs here in ths company..he's under a senior cost estimator..at 1st the senior teach him a lot of basic thgs since he got no experience in shipping works...after tat the senior seems like to avoid him..wat i mean here is hes not teachin him anythg nor giving him any work to do..my fren keep complaining he's like statue in the company..doin nthg!

he's evryday routine is like goin office see documents and look in frnt of pc...sometime hes bored then he wil go to the docksite and walk around seeing ppl building ships..he's been more then 6months in tat company and stil got no proper task for him...i ask him to ask his senior wic he did and the senior just tell him as for now u jsut need to do this and this and this and all tat work he never handle to him yet...

well the thg is tat the senior is very old liao...retirement age soon...mayb he dun wanna teach my fren cz scare my fren who is educated will take his place soon...the senior who is just based on wrking experience...u knw...last time ppl wif form 5 education consider high oledi..nowadays full of degrees holder...

my fren thking to change company since he stay thr oso waste his future cz learn ntg..but the problem is his agreement is 3 yrs contract..really pity him...
but then i see his contract stating he has to serve the company for at least 3yrs..but failing to do so did not mention anythg happen or compensate..wat if he waste 3yrs in tat company?..if he leave tat company do u thk the company can sue hims since no clear statement in contract? do u guys thk he shd go to other company now? i ask my fren to change but he doesnt seems wan cz he says wrk at least 1yr looks better in resume whn applying job next time...

im so disappoint wif an 'ELITE' member here in LYN!!!!!! our deal was ON and other buyer come again to deal COD n my deal was OFF!!!!!! WTF????? is this hw an elite member acts? well...since its like this i thk no point stating out elite member or senior member or junior member...all dun make sense! as i see most ppl dun really trust junior member...

this case is i jz make a deal wif kucingfight regarding the 2.8c proc...our deal was ON tru sms after some negotiation..n today this 'FXXXER' sms me n told me other ppl offer to COD n he prefer COD...wtf???? if our deal was not ON of cz can la...but nw we'v made our deal n i'v reject other offer...this is the thg tat pissed me off...i lose evrythg...not only the deal wif him but oso deal wif other ppl...
