i have two zip files to be sent out everyday using email. is there any way i can make it search a specific folder and grap all zip files inside as attachments and send it to specific person automatically everyday ?
a scheduler would be good, but how ? which software ?

Check out this visual history of every Apple product ever released. In the first 10 years from when Apple was founded, it released 10 different computers models. In the last 10 years, they’ve released 24 different models. Overall, 46 have been desktops while 19 have been portables. During the last 10 years, however, the distribution has been almost equal with 14 desktops and 12 portables.

Given the recent litigation involving I.B.M. and new Apple-hire Mark Papermaster, I wouldn’t be surprised if Jobs still feels the same way about Big Blue.

Change your iPhone root password. If you have jailbroken your iPhone, your default root password is “alpine.” This puts you at a distinct security disadvantage when connected to open networks as it allows the nefarious to browse your entire iPhone with impunity.

To change your password, first runt his perl command:

openssl passwd -crypt -salt /s [password]

Where [password] is your new password. The script will return a number of random characters followed by “.io” The characters before “.io” is your encrypted password. Here is a full How-To.

The edit the file /etc/master.passwd line that gives the information for root on the iPhone. This means you need to ssh into your iPhone and run vi. If you don’t know how to do this, restore your iPhone immediately and leave it unjailbroken until you figure out the command line.

root:[encrypted password]:0:0::0:0:System Administrator:/var/root:/bin/sh

Where [encrypted password] is the password returned above. Failure to do this will result in someone looking at your stuff.

if my screen lock button is not working anymore ?
i understand that by pressing down and hold both home and screen lock buttons, the iPhone will start. but one of my button cacat.
i have restored to 1.1.4 version on yesterday and my screen lock button still not working.
i will need to wait for one minute until the screen will lock automatically.

does anyone face the same problem as i have here?

Step-by-step guide to installing fring on your iPhone
In order to install fring, you need to have your iPhone "opened" first to accept 3rd party applications.
Refer to the Internet for details.
Once your iPhone is "opened", launch the Installer application.
Within Installer go to Sources screen .
Tap Edit (top right-hand corner)
In next screen tap Add (top left-hand corner)
In the Add Source window enter http://fring.com/iphone.xml and tap OK. You will then see a progress bar Refreshing sources.
When the Categories screen loads, scroll down list and tap fring.
On next screen, scroll to the fring category.
Tap the fring category to open fring screen.
Tap Install button top right-hand of screen.
Tap red Install button.
Tap Done in top right-hand corner of screen.
