bcos my plc no telekom service..yet
but need to use fax...telephone no problem as got moblie phone...

guys...bought 2 seagate 160gb hdd for raid 0 setup
wat the best stripe size shld i set? 64k like the default or 32k?
im using mostly for games and BT(-like mini series and movie...shh..)

another thing is ...my friend said do parition is better for huge size hdd...to reduce defrag he said...

but i think it will onli reduce performance and generate more heat on the workload...

wat does u guys think??

on e8400 + sycthe cooler

my older mobo onli 40-45'c..same proc and cooler

i oredi check the thermal paste twice..

another thing is i touched with my hand...and i dun think it is 50'c++...
actually it seem cooler than the HDD

which reading is correct??
realtemp=40'c++
speedtemp=50'c++

to all sifu out there pls help

just restart my pc after long hours of Bt-ing...normally i let pc rest 1 hour after few hours of bt-ing

but all USB port at the back of my mobo cant use...
mouse dead
flash drive dead

my mobo is abit p35e with 4 usb ports at the back and 2 infront..
hvnt check that 2 infornt bcos my casing dun hv hole for it so didnt install yet..

but all 4 at the back is dead...i tried using other mouse and pendrive also cant
the onli thing can run those USB ports is a mini fan and a lighting type led
when i tried will my krait mouse onli got light...but windows xp cant detech anything...not even all eror msg..

other than that all things runing fine...

just run rams test..ok
hdd 1st scan ok..now defrag 29%...
driver all install..no new h/w detect...OS winxp sp3

does it means my mobo usb is faulty??

guys i hv 2 unit of am300 modem..1 new 1 old...

the new 1 no problem(upload/download correct speed)

the older one when connect..the upload speed onli 224kb/s (shld be 384kb/s)
but the download is correct 1024kb
onli upload problem

checked firware both the same
checked setting both identical
i tried hard reset many time oredi stil the same

guys did i miss anything?

helo need some sifu help here

i just bought a Kingstons HyperX PC2-6400 1gb x2

but when in cpu-z onli detect pc2-5300

using abit p35-e mobo
i'm sure in the bios setting i set to FSB/DRAM == >1333/800
and also change the dram timing setting to 5-5-5-15 others timing i onli left auto

did i miss anything?

can i plug EPS-8pin power

just bought a SilverStone ST50F and it doesnt come with a 8pinEPS --to -- 4pin ATX power convertor

so can i plug the EPS-8pin power cable into the 4pin at the mobo?? and leaving the balance 4pin(fr the EPS 8pin) empty??

p/s: i know theres a 8pin-4pin convertor out there in the market...

using maxtor 80gb sata1

i did partiation 40gb each..c: and D:

but now i cant seem to format drive D:

i hv try format though windowXP but stop at 27% with error msg :
" data check error..bla bla..someting cycline redundacy bla bla..."

then i try using boot setup win's CD and format during installing new window...still then same...onli this time the pc just hang after 20%++

does this means i need to change my harddisk ?
maxtor brand warranty is how long?

any inhouse sifu here can help?

p/s: drive C still can using...but sometime can feel abit laggy
