The CPU start by itself after I switch on the power (from the electric socket) without I press the start button on the CPU. The problem happended for several moths back but it becoming worst today.
2. The CPU start but no signal on my Monitor...it just blank without showing any signal from CPU.- I use AGP graphic card.
3. The USB mouse connected to the home PC don't show any signal or powered when the CPU start up, but I try it with my office PC and it works so the mouse o.k.
4. Before this my CPU (Compaq) using Asus mobo never facing this problem, only that it don't have AGP port. Then I change the Asus mobo with Asrock P4i65G mobo last year which I bought from this site Lowyat -which the Asrock mobo don't have warranty but the seller claimed it as a new one.

So is it my Asrock mobo got problem.
Hello all sifus...I have few question that need a clarification.
I plan to upgrade my mobo (currently using Asus Intel Socket 478) into the same version but with AGP supported. At the moment my mobo only has PCI and using integrated Intel Graphic Chipset.
So if I am installing the new mobo, do I have to reformat my HD, including fresh installation of the Windows XP Home.
I hope to retain my current setup and my Win XP.
HDD problem: Sudden operation halt.

Hello, my computer run on P4 2.4, 512MB, Win XP Home Edition with 2 HDD, Samsung 40GB and Maxtor 80 GB. The OS run on Samsung HD.
My PC face a problem of a sudden halt in its operation, such as web surfing. I'm using streamyx and I don't think it has anything to do with the TM line. Usually the problem will occur after 15-20 minutes after I launch the Firefox.
The PC not hang, but my SB Audigy ZS also stop functioning in which the movie play without any voice. Same goes to games. It just like the HDD stop functioning in certain area.
Is there any problem with my HD and is there any special software out there can tell me about the problem. Thanks for your acknowledgement.
Worse come to worse, I'll reformatted the HD but I'm afraid I will not be able to setup my streamyx account again.
