Missing Hybrid SLI Control Panel & Systray
multiple re-install, no luck.....

Hi All,
Before I post, I did use "Search" function for similar topics but solution not found in Technical Support, Hardware Question, etc...
I have 2 problems:

1. need help on how to get back the Hybrid SLI in control and systray.
2. Unable to disable SLI in NVIDIA Control Panel.

Please see pictures below attached to explain everything.

My Hardware:
Asus P5N7A-VM (GeForce9300/730i)
Asus EN8400GS

using Vista 64bits

Drivers Version Tested:
1. 185.85
2. 182.48
3. and many other version, forgot dee....

I also try uninstall all drivers, clean driver of vista, after reboot only install, still unresolved.
Please ignore or concern on the BIOS setting, I ensure all the setting in BIOS 100% correct.
I just want to know any trick of installing driver or what is the best version of driver for Hybrid SLI ?

my Control Panel | sound like this:

that's the problem that encounter, only get HDMI out for stereo only. but I found this from others:

1. starting from CCC 8.5, 8.10 to 8.12, unresolved.

What I have:
1. 8600GT card with 2 DVI ports.
2. SPDIF cable connect from sound card to graphics card.

Question:
1. If I connect 2 LCD by using HDMI cable and connect to 2 DVI via [DVI-to-HDMI adapter], is both output get sound as well or only 1 ?
2. because of 5meter distance between LCD and CPU, I could not find 18+1 DVI cable, can I using 5m HDMI cable to replace with 2 [DVI-to-HDMI adapter] at LCD site and graphics card site ?

Video Playback Lagging in MCE

my details:
OS: vista ultimate
issue: video lagging when only playback in media center
resolution: 1900x1200

workaround:
when the video playback in full screen or in small thumbnail, will see it's lagging, not smooth, flashing/blinking.
I had try using windows media player, media player classic, etc to play same video, is smooth when even in full screen.
I had try to modify/use tools to force change the vista media center video/audio decoder to nero, powerdvd, purevideo also not resolve the issue.
if the resolution are the root cause, why other players have no problem?

anyones experience this before? please help.

SPDIF Optical Out Enquiry

Hi everyones,

As we know that usually like creative sound card or any pci add-on sound card's quality will be better then mb onboard sound card.

some of the sound card, once we select digital out via SPDIF, they actually will bypass internal decoder processing and xfer the digital form raw to our external decoder directly. meant will using external decoder like our multimedia speaker or av receiver to process the sound.

May I know any difference in btw SPDIF out from sound card vs. mb onboard SPDIF out ?
Any sifu-sifu here can confirm about this?

I had search and read some of post or advise here. follow the instructions to test the some recommended website about PowerCalculator. but all the results are not the same. hopefully someones can answer me whether "Yes" or "No"
