hi all,

last month my nephew play games on my pc. the pc is running nvidia fx5200 gc. suddenly the pc got hang and rebooted. i found that the pc is keep on rebooting itself. after took out 1 of the ram (256 X 2), the pc was able to load the windows. i can see the windows xp logo. but when the windows try to get the login screen, the monitor turned off. after that, i disabled the gc by going into the safe mode. rebooted again and walla.. im getting my desktop back.. unfortunately, if i enable the gc, or even try reinstall the gc, the monitor will turned off again and again..

my question is, does my gc already kong? what test should i throw to the gc to make sure its really the gc faulty? thanks a million..

Dial up connection in Vista

hi guys,

i have just got a new lappy which comes with Vista. previously i used xp pro. so i need you guys an opinion. i used to paired my lappy with my Blackberry Bold for internet berukband... on winxp, after you disconnect the dial up connection, then thats it.. u can get urself to do something else.. but i notice in vista, everytime i disconnect the dial up, the dialer is keep on flashing on the screen, asking for connection. so i thought it maybe my antivirus which asking for an internet connection in order to update itself. but after i turn off the update, the same thing still happened. as for now, the only solution is to delete the dialer. but everytime i need to berukband myself, i need to create the dial up connection again and again which is very annoying.. now i badly need some tips on this.. thanks in advance..

PC is keep on restarting

Hi guys,

my old rig, Pentium 4 2.4 Northwood, 2X2 256 PC333 DDR RAM, 80GB Samsung harddisk, and geforce fx5200 agp, is keep on restarting itself. everytime i on the pc, the screen i got was given an option whether to enter the windows on safe mode, safe mode with networking, last known configuration, or normal startup. does care which one i chose, it will restart the pc without getting the windows logo.. what i did was test the ram. since i have a pair of ram, i take out one, and start the pc. both ram gave me the same results. i also go into the bios, and check the hdd, ram, and agp all still detectable.. so now, im in a puzzle, whether its caused by my graphic card or my mobo. anyone can suggest how to the out the mobo or the gc? thanks a million

mydomain.com.my account has been working all the time with other domain. i havent encounter any problem in receiving mail in mydomain.com.my except from yahoo.com.

ive tested nslookup on mydomain.com.my and it can be resolved without any issue. the MX record also can be resolved.

Domino Web Access

hi all,

im having a problem with domino server. we are running domino 6.5.1 and that particular server also acting as a web access (webmail) server. now the problem is, the users unable to delete the mail by using webmail. but by using lotus notes client, the mail can be deleted with no issue. the only changes they made was changing the firewall. but according to the network department technical staff, all rules have been copied.

i dont know what to check anymore. please advise.. thanks..

ps: pls check the screenshot.. first one was using the LAN (using proxy server) and the second one was using celcom broadband. the results is still the same..

i got o2 atom life in hand. but for testing purposes only. i also subscribed to celcom with unlimited data package. i can surf the net using the o2 but as far as i know, this model supports hsdpa which enable users to make this devices as modem. connect to the laptop using usb cable and you can surf the net with 3.5g. but i couldnt find any reference on how to configure both devices. any comment is much appreciated. thanks.

RAM defrag software

hi all,

my lappy (2gb ram) running on winxp (original), installed with vmware workstation v5 (original). i installed win20003 server r2 (original) for one image of vmware. i also installed RAM Idle, a software that will defrag the ram once the used of ram reach a certain trash hold) on the host (winxp). while running both, i saw my ram usage is only around 55% showed by the ram idle. but 5 minutes later, both of guest image(win2003k server) and host (winxp) freezed. i found out the ram idle is causing the freeze because it tried to defrag the ram but really demm slow. it works great for my 512ram pc but i guess 2gb is not for ram idle (its a free version anyway). i need a recommendation. what ram defrag software works great for big sizes of ram (2gb and above)? those who are having a big amount of ram and using these kind of software are welcome to post a comment. thanks.

Hi guys..

need ur help. my inspiron 700m cannot be turn on. once i press the switch on button, the laptop beeping.. tut.. tut.. tut.. tut.. 4 times.. the screen shows nothing. totally blank. even the dell logo wasnt appearing. but i can hear that the fan of the heat sink is on... my question

1. what could be the problem? (mobo, ram?)
2. how to get a dell support? (FYI, my warranty already expired)
3. i need this to be fix fast. there is a very very important files inside the laptop. what is my option to fix this?
