Dear Neon Genesis Evangelion fans,

We would like to call for a petition to show Cathay Cineplex Malaysia that there are enough EVA fans based in Malaysia & in the hope for them to consider bringing in the latest episode of
"Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance" film to be show in their exclusive cinema in Malaysia.

NOTE: Cathay Cineplex had previously brought in "Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone" movie to Malaysia.

Cathay Cineplex Malaysia was thrilled by the amount of EVA fans & happy to announce that they will most likely be bringing in "Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance" to Malaysia!!!

Release date is tentatively scheduled for 1st Quarter of 2010.

Thanks to those who participated in this petition, our strong moves had shown result in only a week.

unexpected T_VARIABLE

I have an error on my PHP syntax, when I run the page, it will show that I have "syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE". Going to the line given this was it.

Deleting this line will make the error go away, but from what I can see, I dont think there is anything wrong with the line. Can anyone help me on this?

Mod_rewrite and regex

I am doing a .htaccess rewrite where it will pass a variable in the usage of /rewrite/var1/var2

now, I can do just fine by

CODE

RewriteRule ^rewrite/([^/]+)/([^/]+)

But I encountered some errors and I discovered that some of the var2 that I sent by itself have "/" in it, thus for example the address

CODE

rewrite/ohLol/this/is/a/file.jpg

will turn out as

CODE

var1 = ohLol
var2 = this

instead of

CODE

var1 = ohLol
var2 = this/is/a/file.jpg

How do I make so that it ignores the "/"? deleting it from the regex for the second string will create an internal 500 error

As with above, I am having problem understanding how to use pattern findings in php, either using ereg or preg_match functions.
Let say for example, I have a variable that holds a bunch of html codes. Now from this variable, I only want to strip the ones that start with for example "a href=<source>", take the <source> only and assign that to another array.

This can be considered as a twin thread to the Malaysian Sim Racers one, but will focus more on rFactor and the mods itself, including new releases and such.

What IS rFactor?
rFactor is a vehicle based simulator that was developed by Image Space Incorporated (ISI). Fully moddable, and robust, it's the simulator of choice for many racing teams, including F1 teams such as BMW.Sauber, Toyota and Williams F1.

What do I need to play it?
Although a gamepad will do, honestly a steering wheel is a must, and FFB support would make it much better.

What kind of cars/tracks would I expect in this game?
While rFactor comes with some basic cars and tracks, modders have added hundreds more to it. Just head up to rFactor Central and check out their database. F1 cars from the 70's, Touring Cars, Muscle, and tracks such as the Nordchlife at the Nurburgring are just the tip of the iceberg

Why do I want to play it?
Think of it as a challenge. It has a different approach from the arcade style racers that you see in the market. Learning and trying to master how to be fast and yet gentle to the car would give you a clearer picture on how a real life driver does it.

As previously announced, Codemasters has aquired the license for the F1 series, taking over from Sony. And their developers has recently released a quick FAQ here
The FAQ includes lots of information and answers to the most asked questions and is a very interesting read if you´re interested in Codemaster’s first ever Formula One game.In a nutshell, here are some of the main points:
The game will have full-blown weather effects
Promised are realistic laptimes and physics for those who want it, trying to please the needs of both aracde fans and sim racers
F1 2009 will have an in-depth track surface module that simulates rubber build-up, stones, water & marbles both physically and optically
No tracks will be reused from GRID, all F1 venues will be made from scratch based on research, laser-scanning data, photos & videos
The game will not be moddable
