Bought HP PC get Vista CD key

Hi guys, as topic, I bought a HP dx2810 tower PC and originally in it's spec is Vista but I wanted XP.

So I asked the vendor to downgrade to XP and they kao tim for me no problem,

Now I want to format and install XP but I do not have the CD key for XP!

I only have Vista at the sticker on the PC, the OS written there is Vista downgrade to XP.

I've called HP and they say called Microsoft, called Microsoft they say get it from HP.

Then really insist Microsoft help me, simply borrow a friend's CD Key first to install then when activate time choose activate via telephone and I followed the instruction but they said the key is not valid!

Any comment guys?

Well, i know the <a href="mailto:youremailaddress">Email</a> supposed to be it.

But this one it uses a 3rd party software to send, like Outlook.

But what i'm looking for is like auto send to email, for example LYN registration, when click submit it'll auto send the info into admin's email.

How do we do that?

as topic.. i thought its as easy as in Win XP but its not the same,

went to the network connection to create a new connection but it keep want to detect modem.

my streamyx not auto connected, not configured to PPPoE.

everytime on computer need to manually dial a connection only can, just that before this all use Win XP no problem.

pc auto restart

hi guys,

yday suddenly my pc keep auto restart, after it appear the windows xp logo loading.. it will appear blue screen and restart! it will keep looping like that!

the problem is, i cant even see the blue screen message. it will show the blue scree msg for probably half second and then restart again.

any idea guys?

red patches on LCD

Hi guys, this morning when i startup my laptop, suddenly saw red patches all over my LCD.

When watch movie can see red lines or patches.

When open a window can see reddish color on the toolbar instead of the normal color.

I tried connecting to another monitor, it looks fine.

So im guessing is my laptop's LCD is the problem.

What you guys reckon?

Warning letter

I'm about to be issued a warning letter by company for taking emergency leaves too often.

The truth is, i've been going for interviews as i decided to leave this company.

So, question is, should i resign first before the issue the warning letter? or should i sign the warning letter?

what if I do not sign the warning letter, keep delay until i get a job offer then i resign?

What do you guys think?

Company ownership transfer

Now i have a friend whom i want him to be included in our company. (David)

I want to remove 1 of the person's name © and include this David, of course we already discussed with C.

hi, usually when i wanna make fund transfer to another account, i just go to open 3rd party account right?

does this applicable when i want to transfer funds to other bank too?

because i tried on other bank and the account number is only 10 digit (OCBC) and when i submit it requests for 12 digits.

is this the right way to transfer money to different banks?

and is there any charges whatsoever?

Well, as topic, whenever i press the power button, beeping sound can be heard. So as i know, beeping means RAM problem.

Well, I tried inserting a ram into extra slot, the beeping happened. Then when I remove the newly added ram, beeing happened too. Note that before I insert a new ram, everything is running FINE. Now I already pluck out the new ram, (I never touch the old RAM), the starting up rate is like 25%.

I have to off and on and keep repeating until managed to startup. Sometimes when I'm using the CPU halfway will hang. No bluescreen, nothing. Just the whole CPU stopped functioning.

Hm..RAM loose or something like that?

Hi all, this is my code for finding out the date difference.
