Convert sequential jpeg to other format

assuming i have an application which will capture the entire desktop and save into jpeg very fast, i manage to generate like ~20 jpeg per second, now my problem is i want to save all these jpeg, 20 fps of full desktop in jpeg is quite large in size, want to know what methods i can use to convert them into other format to save space ? like a movie file.

btw currently assuming each jpeg size is ~200k, 20x200k = 4mB per second = 345.6gB per day isnt acceptable. I want to reduce it as much as possible, plz dont suggest methods of dropping the quality of the jpeg or reduce pixels, color-bit etc.
Why AAA battery is more expensive than AA type

title said it, i just DO NOT understand why AAA batteries is so many times more expensive than their big brother AA, and why still so many things like wireless mouse keyboard, clock, remote control, and many other things still use them, they are just slightly smaller but the price is so much more expensive and their lifetime i think its shorter than AA. ... and where can i get some cheap but not so bad AAA batteries ?

Got better ISP than streamyx in my area ?

asked this question like 1 year ago, and the result last time was no other better ISP, so im asking the same question again this year =P

my home area
http://wikimapia.org/#lat=3.2195516&lon=10...02&z=16&l=0&m=m

~800 meters away from jusco and carrefour kepong, any1 know got any potentially better ISP then streamyx in this area ?

most of the time im getting less than 200kbps connection in modem connection(not the actual dl speed but connection), today seems a bit better cause sunday nite i guess(and i did reconnected few times)
[attachmentid=1257372]

the main problem for my connection maybe is the "Line Attenuation", but most likely this problem cannot be solved, did complained to tmnut multiple times and its pain in ass to talk to them(seriously, my blood pressure went up alot, and my life shortened everytime i try that). so i think the better solution would be just look for a better alternative then get myself killed of heart attack.

Want to DIY

My old computer table is now like 5 years old and it is quite bad condition, i was thinking to replace it but couldnt find any suitable 1 to replace my current one. My friend suggested me to DIY my own table due to what i really need is some small space to put my LCD, mouse, keyboard, books and other stuff, did some google, found this.

http://www.furniture-for-small-spaces.com/...unted-desk.html

that is actually what i need, very nice looking and spacesaving, much better space for my sub-woofer, and i can get whatever drawer i want as long as it isnt taller than the table.

since im not a carpenter i dont know where can i get some stuff that i would need like the wooden board that use as the desk which the board has to be strong and smooth. I dont want to use that type of wood which will expand if it get wet(my current table, very difficult to close drawer so i very seldom open it).

Any1 has experience on these kind of stuff, plz give some advice, on how to purchase/order and wat these calls thanks.

Yeah serious talk tag over here, so plz try CONTROL yourself.

Just now during the quake, i do see some ppl panic when they noticed the building is shaking, what I want to discuss over here is seems like malaysia is no longer an earthquake safe-zone, do we really know what we should/should not do in a quake ?

At least i asked myself, if the building is going to collapse, i m not quite sure what should i do, go downstairs ? goto the roof ? or just find some safer spot and stay ? where is consider safer ? What I saw was ppl rushing down the stairs and some idiots waiting for lift, which it will stop floor by floor and full always.

Seriously, I want to have some basic knowledge, who knows 1 day any of us survived cause of some kopitiam discussion ?

Thanks.

That isnt my main HDD, its secondary, but page file uses that drive.

500GB, WD, purchased last year Feb from computer war

SMART showing my HDD status is ERROR, computer just crashed few times until i find out the problem, set the page file back to a good drive then stop crashing d. Purchased a 1TB hdd today hoping to recover as much data as possible, some of them no longer readable, so consider some file lost.

Since my HDD was purchased more than a year ago, can i still take it back to computer war or should i directly take it back to WD ? any documentation needed or any procedure needed b4 i do the warranty claim from WD ? they will fix the bad sectors for me or replace me a new 1 ?

Tnx

The only related information on that letter is only the so called "HIRE-PURCHASE AGREEMENT NUMBER" which is xxxxx-xx-xxxxxx-xx, yeah i hide the number, sorry, but each x is a number, so it is 15 digits long, and all the dash is at the correct location. How to find out my Hire-Purchase Account No ? Since I want to do monthly fund transfer via maybank2u.com.

Thanks.
