Recently I have upgraded my motherboard to Gigabyte GA-73PVM-S2H.

It is using the Realtek ALC889A codec (High Defininition Audio).

Previously, I had Chaintech AV-710, powered by a VIA HT-S chip (VT1721) on my old motherboard.

Which 1 is better?

aztech DSL900E(B)

I got buy 1 second hand aztech DSL900E(B) ...firmware version 2.6.1

but when i on it....it try to acquire network address for very long and then finally end up with "no or limited connectivity" error. (which means I cannot connect to streamyx when i tried)

I have been using many adsl modem before but no problem but this 1 got this problem.

Isit usable for streamyx?

Anyway the big problem is I go and be so smart and simply goggle and then flash my modem.

But the flash I think failed. Now almost all the 6 led on my modem permanently on forever (which I think is dead)

Anyone can help me recover back my modem to original state.

Please help me ...I tried looking at goggle but can't find solution.

Problem details
First occurence of problem: when i bought it
Problem frequency: until now
Problem description: cannot forward port

I was wondering if you have any problem port forwarding with this modem?

Because I can't seem to forward my port. Is there any special method for this method?

I have no problem forwarding with my past modems and also followed that guide on portforward.com

I am just wondering is this modem difficult to do it or must do what setting?

No matter what I do those test port website says my port is closed or connection refused

i am using streamyx 1mbps package

will i have any problem just buying normal adsl modem or must i use adsl2/2+ modem then only can?

also what if using 4mbps plan in the future?
