How much difference well I notice?
Physically a smoother, mirror-finish if lapped well. Temperature will drop around 5 Celsius if done correctly thought this might be vary from heatsink to heatsink.
2. How do I lap heatsink?
There are many ways, example: http://www.overclockersclub.com/guides/lapping/
3. Which type of heatsink can I lap?
Almost any heatsink can be lapped including those with heatpipe direct touch (hdt) , water blocks can be lapped as well.
special note of hdt hsf: You mustn't do excessive lapping. i recommend you to start after 600 grit.
4. How do you know the quality of this product?
I tested it myself, I tried sharp edges on normal cheap sandpaper and it breaks easily, then i try again another sharp edge on this and this doesn't break. I also tried to lap a piece of metal, I got pretty smooth surface.
5. Why skip from 360grit to 1000grit, isn't it the gap too big?
Well after 360grit you can still apply 600grit sandpaper but the difference doesn't worth the time and money to do so. The ONLY advantage of lapping 600grit between them is your 1000grit sandpaper will not finish up so fast.
6. How many heatsink can I lap with a piece of sandpaper?
Typically, I would say more than 5 heatsinks, but then this is depend on the person who lap it.

T n C:
1. I will not be responsible for any damage or cause.
2. Do not spam or blame me if you can't get the expected result. Mostly, it is your technique problem.
3. If you are unsure, you can "practice" on old heatsink or any piece of aluminum or copper first.

Technique:
1. Start slow, don't rush. Apply your force evenly.
2. If you can lap a 1-cent into mirror-finish, you can lap almost anything to mirror finish.

for the "notebook, pda, camera" section the tags applied to the thread can add one more as "netbook"? although it might be similar to notebook but nettop is more compact and smaller. if u dont accept this suggestion, nvr mind. no harm done.
