Guys need help!!
i just re-format my laptop with the recover CD given by vendor when purchase this laptop. Everything seem working fine except the sound, i just can't work it out. There is no sound coming out from the build in speaker but i can get sound by plug in the ear-phone. So basically what did i miss out can any sifu point me out?
I'm using Vista business.. please.. help needed urgently
if you guys need any other information let me know i will try to reply asap!

Hi guys, anyone of you ever find a file named 'fish.php' on your desktop? It just appear on my desktop out of no where, don't know how i get it. Try to google it but seem no result at all.

desktop blank, only mouse cursor is show

Hi guys, i have a problem regarding my pc. This morning when i turn on the pc, as usual it load all the way into windows, but the problem is, when it show the desktop, i can only see my mouse cursor, nothing else other than that.
The only thing i can do is open the Task Manager by pressing Alt + Ctrl + Del. Nothing as well if i press the windows key on keyboard. Same goes to Save Mode.
For me, i think the best way is to repiar the windows but unfortunately i don't have the Vista starter CD with me.
So guys, is there any other way to fix this problem?

Hey guys~
i just bought a 478 socket JW POWER motherboard, after plug in every cable, i start to install the windows.
Everything i re-use except for the motherboad, and this error message show up.

"The following value is the .SIF file used by Setup is corrupted or missing:

Value 0 on the line in section [Computer] with key "acpHapi@_mp."

Setup cannot continue. To quit Setup, press F3."

i try with different RAM, HDD, CD-ROM, windows cd. But all result were the same, my guess would be the cheap MoBo.
Anyone of you out there try JW POWER MoBo before? Because the sales person told me this MoBo performence is so-so only, and only given 6 month warranty.
Was urgent and only that brand available for socket 478, haiz..

IE7 not connecting to internet

I just realize that my IE was unable to connect to internet while my firefox is doing good. I try to reset the IE settings, delete all the add-on, but still the same. And also i did System restore, yet still the same.
Do some research in google but not found any solution for my case.

Hang when trying to save

Hi guys, have some problem here, seeking for help.

Just days ago my friend ask me to check on his pc, was unable to boot windows.
The boot stops with this warning message:
Warning! CPU has been changed
Please re-enter CPU settings...........

I use delete to enter CMOS Setup Utility
select optimized defaults
accept the Yes and enter
select SAVE & EXIT or F10
accept the Yes and enter

then system hangs

if press F1 to continue, was also unable to boot windows.
i tried to clear CMOS by jumper, no luck.
Anyone face this problem before? Solution needed urgent

at least 4 or 5 times she sing the words "i'm gonna"
is kinda old song i think..

Hi guys, need some help here.
I was trying to format and re-install windows xp for my friend pc, but somehow i unable to complete it as usual. The was a error message show up just right after Windows Setup loading progress.
The error message is something like this
"File \i386\c_1252.nls could not be load.
The error code is 7.
Setup cannot continue. Press any key to exit."
Well, what i did is..
1. Try using another windows cd, no luck.
2. Change cd-rom, no luck.
3. Change ram, no luck.
4. Change HDD, no luck still.
I already did what i could, but the problem still remain the same.
Anyone face this kind of problem before?
The MoBo model is Intel D945GNT.
Help needed badly

Heard beep sound but no display was show!

Hi guys, i got some problem with my pc, need all your help.
Just few day ago i couldn't turn on the pc, so i replace a new PSU and it run again. But here come the problem, it make the beep sound as usual when i turn it on, but there is no display show on the monitor.
Was using on board GC, so i thought may be the GC is faulty also, i borrow a GC from my friend but the result is same.
So i thought might be the monitor faulty so i borrow a LCD as well, still the same.
One thing i suspect it doesn't boots into windows, because once i press on the power button, the pc stop right away. If it do load into windows it should take some times to shut down isn't it?
What could be the problem? Because it do beep like normal so i got no idea what's wrong with it?

Time and Date always change when ever i start pc

Hi guys, got a major question here.
Normally when the system time and date always change when we start the pc, that's mean is time to replace a new CMOS battery isn't it?
But the problem is, it still happen after the battery was change. At first i thought this battery also 'dead' so i bought another new battery to replace but no luck, still the same thing happen again.
What could it possible be? My MoBo? Hope its not..
Please, i really need help on this.

Floppy Disk

Hi guys, got a question.
When i try to load the floppy disk it always ask to format it.
but if i insert the floppy disk on another pc, it can be load as usual.
is it that mean my floppy drive is 'gong'..?

No Beep, Blank Screen..

This morning when i try to turn on my pc, it doesn't boot as usual..
So i open up the casing, i can see the system fan is running as usual, but there is no single beep sound and my monitor screen is blank. So i test on everything that possible:
1. The monitor is working..
2. Replace another power supply, still the same..
3. Replace another RAM, still the same..
4. Clear CMOS, still the same..
Then lastly i unplug everything, just left the motherboard, processor and power supply, still the same..
My guessing would be the MoBo malfunction, or may be processor but i don't have another processor to try on. Any of you guys face the similar problem before?
My mainboard is MSI ms-7255, using on board GC..

Acer Aspire 4730ZG

Guys, my friend just bought this Acer Aspire 4730ZG days ago. It come with windows vista but he want windows xp, so i try to do format and installation for him. But the problem is once it finish process the setup page, it will turn to blue screen. No matter how many time i try, changed OS disc, its still the same.

I remember some of the laptop need to change some settings in the bios to fix that but i couldn't recall where is it.

DEP

Guys, this morning when i turn my pc on, out of sudden i get the "DEP" message, if i click on "close" then windows explorer error message will come out, if i click on either "send report" or "don't send report" the pc will go hang. But if i ignore all of them, i still can use my pc like what i did now searching for help.
