this fellar supposed 2 sent me 2pcs of kingston 2gb ram, which i bought from him on oct 2nd.
paid on friday, onli 'sent' the item on tuesday. never mentioned anything about tracking no.

until now, no ram's, no news, no anything.
sent him sms-es & pm-ed him yesteday. never replied. i can see he online few times AFTER i sent the pm.

if u did really post the ram's, where's the tracking no?
why never reply my sms & pm?

r u desparate for money?

i've sent him an invitation regarding this thread. we'll see how it goes.

-300Mhz cpu, 32MB RAM,
-gigabit LAN (10/100/1000)
-easily flash to dd-wrt. no need TFTP, no need check version bla, bla
-easily re-flash to ori firmware (not all dd-wrt-capable can do this)
-supports linksys' new generation firmware, cool looks (see attachment), almost comparable to dd-wrt in term of features, but faster. among other things this new firmware supports up to 50 Mac-filter, while the mac-filter doesnt work in dd-wrt.

2. Linksys WRT54GL v1.1 - no need to explain more
package: router only. no adapter, no box, no nothing. please refer to pix. even the antenna cover gone. i took them off to improve the signal range. physical condition is not so good, but she's working perfectly.

3. D-Link DIR-300

bought in bulk to get more discount. needed only one.

antenna cable - 2m (brand Belden, not cheapo meh)
WLAN AP with 400mW tx power
all-weather enclosure for AP
power adapter for AP
5m utp cable
P.O.E injector (wan-port & lan-port#1 of the AP has built-in POE)
2x holder for AP enclosure
1x holder for antenna
manual (in a CD)

u can configure the AP to function as:
-gateway (the ap works alone & will control everything. dhcp, qos etc)
-AP (link via cable to a gateway to provide a wireless-interface of the network)
-repeater (repeat remote wifi signal)
-client (enter someone else's wlan network)

ideal for hotspot since u can set the client's max bandwidth for d/load & upload. qos is better instead of blindly blocking all the p2p, torrent, video-streaming etc to ur customers.

range: i tested until 1.2km still got signal @ 2 bar. horizontal: 360deg, vertical 13deg
brand & warranty: i'm suspecting the ori seller partly hand-made this things. they r not carrying any brand. but provide a 1-year warranty (from europe, of course). who cares as long as the thing works. if u have problem with this, dun buy lah. no need to make noise or whatever.
term & price: rm550 not include postage, COD in malacca or putrajaya

incase u dunno, this two things can turn ur home streamyx into a hotspot. very easy to setup, run & manage business. the only hard-to-do thing is mounting the antenna. no need any radius or dedicated server to control ur customer. u can start ur business immediately

refer here on how to start & manage ur hotspot (download the file, then watch the video guide. kinda straight-forward)

price for both: 400 (firm)
(new price: antenna rm400, router rm190)
