Question about Blu-ray player.

I am new with Blu-ray. I just brought a Panasonic DMP-BD60 (not yet receive). I saw other shops selling DMP-BD60 and Sharp Blu-ray and all of them are Region A when manufactured. That is good for those watching US movies (although lot of Blu-ray discs are free region or included all three regions), but if some day when you watch Hong Kong movie with Region C, can we watch that movie in Region A player?

Why the Blu-ray player purchase in Malaysia is pre-set to Region A?

Is there anyway to reset the Region A to Free region (or all three region) for my Panasonic Blu-ray Player? If I can reset, will it affact the warranty status and still be able to update future firmware?

Perodua lost the first place to Proton after become leader past 40 months. Proton should thank to Proton Saga and Proton Exora. Honda City also improve a lot after 2 to 3 months decrease in sales.

Number of units sold for Proton Exora is still below my expectation... Only 2,156 units registered in May but far more better than last month with only few hundred units.

Honda City still below 1,500 units for May 2009. Far behind Toyota Vios (1,412 units vs. 2,543 units for May 2009 alone) and (8,865 units vs. 11,126 units for Jan to May 2009).

Just want to ask your opinion, for full synthetic lubricants, is the Mobil 1 (0W - 40 or 5W - 50) better than Full synthetic Toyota Genuine Motor Oil?

I heard that internally, Mobil 1 claimed that Mobil 1 can actually last for 10,000km before change. Of course, their wouldn't say that to customers la. Their want to encourage customers change at regular interval.

Or any other brand with full synthetic that is, in your opinion, the best for car?

Why the new version of cars (e.g., Toyota Vios, Honda City, etc.) designed in such a way that driver unable to see front bonnet. Then it is a little bit hard to measure the distance between front bonnet and objects?

Why their want to design in such a way? To let drive have bigger view angle?

Perodua Myvi is still top selling car in April 2009. Around 800 units more than Proton Saga.

Surprisingly, Honda City valume drop by around 800 units compared to March 2009.

Seem like Perodua Kancil increase a lot compared to last month. Unfortunately, this model will end production after next month if not mistaken.

Ask a noob question again. I just settled a police summon through internet. In that summon, the police has arrange a date for me to attend a Court. Since I have settled the summon, should I go to Court at that date?

By the way, the summon related to illegal U-Turn.

Usually how do you judge when should we change the tires?

Is Michelin Pilot Preceda 2 perform good in wet and dry roads? and can I use 195/55R15 Michelin Pilot Preceda 2 in my car which with stock tires are 185/60R15? If can, will this affect the performance of my car in the road?

Is Michelin Pilot Sport 2 got the size of either 185/60R15 or 195/55R15?

Recently I saw a lot of car changing the car manufacturer's logo. For example, I saw 1 Toyota Alphard with a Lexus logo and Toyota logo had been removed and another case is their put the Lexus logo in Gaia car... The most usual case is changing Toyota Harrier to Lexus Harrier.

Is that any legal consequences for changing those logo?

Just want to do a survey regarding GPS tracking system. Is it really useful and value for money? I heard some salesman said if their don't install the GPS tracking system properly, it will damage the electronic circuit board in your car. Is that true?

HDMI Problem

I just brought a HDMI cable (2 meter) catergory 2. But when I connect the HDMI cable between my Gigabyte Geforce 9800GX2 and my Benq LCD monitor V2400W, the computer said no cable detected? Why? Is that because my HDMI cable didn't meet the requirement? or any other reasons?
