[WTA] Why No Karaoke DVD Player in the UK

For those who is living in the UK, I'm just curious of my recent findings.

I searched in the Sony website in Malaysia and found a few DVD players with built-in karaoke functions.

However, in the UK Sony website there are no such feature at all!!! And apparently same with all other brands in the UK.

No demand at all in the UK? Hmmmm...

And secondly, anyone can recommend a good alternative to this legendary Creative DDTS-100 decoder?

Any expert there with these 2 comparison?

I know it's diff where 1 is 2 channel and another 1 is 5.1. But I need some practical advice on the sound quality based on;

1) Watching movie
2) Listening to music
3) PS3 gaming
4) (maybe) Karaoke a bit...

Price diff that I got is around RM95 (X-540 more expensive).

Possible implication:

Any idea on how do I play RMVB files without having to install any linux OS/Ubuntu etc...

Or do I need to convert my RMVB files to avi or divx everytime I need to play those files?

Transponder Key for Toyota Yaris

Wanna ask about the replacement cost for the Yaris key (with or without remote control). I think because of the immobiliser, the key has a built-in transponder and without it, you can't start the engine even if your key is "cut" to the right specs.

iPhoto 08 Alternative

Hey peeps... Been using Macbook with iPhoto 08 for the past few months. I noticed that it take up quite lots of space for my photos!!!

When I created an event/album, on top of the original size of the picture, it will duplicate itself in the event file thus making the file size double and eat up my HDD space double the time. And if you believe it, my 160GB HDD left only 14GB and even before I start to install my bootcamp!!!

Any suggestions and any guidances really appreciated.
