Any Music Stores Selling Independent Music?

Hi, are there any stores in Kuala Lumpur that specialize in selling independent music? If not specialize, then maybe at least stores that sell quite a bit of independent music. More specifically, I'm looking for stuff from American bands. Genres like pop, punk, metal, hardcore. Bands like Underoath, Set Your Goals, A Day To Remember, Parkway Drive.

Hi, I'm planning to go out later to get earphones. Probably the Sennheiser CX-300, and I've got some questions:
1) Are they sold in lowyat?
2) If so, which stores?
3) Around how much do they cost?
4) Am I in danger of being sold a fake one?

Hey, I'm currently out on the hunt for a nice pair of earphones. Are there any recommended stores in KL that specialize in earphones/headphones/IEMs? If so, please give me the address. I'm more into IEMs and I'm not looking for super-expensive ones either (around 100-250RM budget).
And please don't ask me to buy from these forums either.

Hi, I was reading this topic on the D-Link DIR-300 Wireless G Router (which I am considering buying) and I read something about "the DIR300's biggest selling point - that it can be flashed to DD-WRT?" http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/544643

I've read about this "flashing" quite a few times but what does it actually mean? Does it greatly enhance our Internet speed? Is there any article (for newbies like me) where I can read about it and maybe even how to set it up?

Need Suggestions To ISP + Modem/Router

Hi, soon I'll be moving to the Desa Pandan area and I'd like some suggestions as to what brand/model of router+modem to buy.

I'm planning to use it with one desktop PC and maybe 1 or 2 laptops. I'll be using the Internet primarily for online gaming and BT.

Second question, my PC is quite old, in order to use wireless Internet, does it needs some sort of network card or something? Or are there router+modems that can have one wire plugged into the PC as well as transmit wirelessly to other computers?

Also, I was originally planning to subscribe for streamyx but my parents were going to go for Maxis broadband. I checked out Maxis, but they only have up to 1Mbps while streamyx has up to 4Mbps (I was planning on getting the 2Mbps one). I've always thought that although streamyx is pretty shitty compared to the ISP's in other countries, it is nonetheless the best ISP (kinda like the best of the worst) in Malaysia. So I'd like some help as to which ISP I sould get.

Buying MacBook Pro

I'm thinking about buying a MacBook Pro and I've been comparing prices of the MBP here in Malaysia with the prices in Singapore and Hong Kong and I found that it's a bit cheaper in Singapore (if you get the education discount) and waaay cheaper in Hong Kong (1200 RM cheaper with education discount). I'm now considering going to SG or HK to buy the MBP, or maybe get a friend or relative to buy it for me and bring it back here. The problem is that I've heard that if immigration finds the MBP still in its box and everything, then they'll impose a import tax or something on it. I was thinking how I can bring it in without having to pay the tax. What are the reasons for imposing tax? And how are items deemed eligible or ineligible for taxing? Can we just take everything out of the MBP, put it back in, and then bring it across immigration and bullshit them by telling them that we've had the MBP for a while already?

Moving To Ampang Hilir - Have some questions

Hi, as my topic title suggests, I will soon be moving to Upper East, Ampang Hilir (near Raintree Club). I was wondering if there were any better ISPs compared to streamyx? Because I'm using streamyx right now and I'm getting disconnected quite frequented. Being a frequent gamer, this is extremely annoying and I would like to know if there are any better ISPs for me once I move to Ampang Hilir. Any suggestions/recommendations?

Also, some questions I have:Is wireless broadband slower than wired broadband?As a gamer, is it recommended for me to subscribe for a wireless broadband service?
If I plan on getting a wired broadband service, which one should I subscribe for?
