Abit uGuru problem

Asking help from Abit users;

my uGuru disables the monitoring (Abit EQ) for temp/volt/fan as well as Fan EQ.

As a result I have to re enter all my settings again and enable the monitoring.

Any help is appreciated (: Thanks in advance.

[EDIT]
This happens only when I power down my rig and turn off the power.

If power remains on, no such problem.

I'm not sure if its the issue of the CMOS battery running flat, since my settings for FSB remains the same, and my motherboard is only 1.5 years old.

Default FSB is 272MHz (don't know why, hahaha!), but it remains at the 266MHz which I set.

I shall try adjusting the FSB now, will be back! (:

[addedon]September 1, 2008, 9:52 pm[/addedon]Alright, shifting the FSB in uGuru to something else, will also go back to 266MHz, but not the factory default of 272MHz.

Help, anyone? Task Manager does not show any program eating up resources, and 3GB RAM, so not a page file issue.

mcafee, spybot all installed, assuming not a virus / malware, could it be that the HDD is dying?

For those who have important emails kept in Gmail or use POP with Gmail, take note.

Gmail can lock you out of your own account!

This account has been locked down due to unusual account activity. It may take up to 24 hours for you to regain access.

Unusual account activity includes, but is not limited to:

1. Receiving, deleting, or downloading large amounts of mail via POP in a short period of time.
2. Sending a large number of undeliverable messages (messages that bounce back).
3. Using file-sharing or file-storage software, browser extensions, or third party software that automatically logs in to your account.
4. Leaving multiple instances of your Gmail account open.
5. Browser-related issues. Please note that if you find your browser continually reloading while attempting to access your Inbox, it’s probably a browser issue, and it may be necessary to clear your browser’s cache and cookies.

Would like to suggest to split the "Essential Reviews and Guides" into two.

This would be easier for those who want to find information on how to assemble / troubleshoot their PCs. Will be even better if the Guides can be further seperated out to subforums, to make it neater, so that people can find the right thread according to what they want.

Some Guides subforums you might want to consider:
| Building / Choosing the right PC
| Networking
| Maintenance of PC
| Setting up peripherals
| Security / Virus / etc
| OS and related

Anyway, similar threads:
Firefox pipelining
http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/82701
http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/610617

9550 o/c and voltmod
http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/125428
http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/239273
