Bad deal for loan interest revision?

I hv wrote a interest rate revision request letter to AmBank, to reduce interest rate for home loan, which is quite high compare to current market, BLR + 0.1%. Total loan amount is about RM200k, and I am in the 3rd yrs of repayment.

The offer they gave me is BLR - 0.75% (Acceptance within 15 days)
or BLR - 0.50% (Acceptance within 30 days)

But the problem is they revise the lock in period to 5 yrs start from the date of letter issue, and increase the min penalty from RM5000 to RM8000.

Don't really think it is a good deal, i think i would rather pay for another 2 yrs+ then switch to another bank or do the refinancing directly. Any advise?

I am been pissed of by this guy Andygen from http://greatwebsitedeveloper.com/, have sign up a web design and hosting plan with him earlier this year. Poor services and Bad attitude. Before paying i request anything also said no problem, after make the full payment, he totally ignore me, no reply my email, sms, call etc. The quality of design is not good also, everything is from template.

Not recommend anyone to sign up services with him.

Maxis Wireless BB, Get EDGE Signal problem!

Found that there are some maxis broadband users have the problem of only getting EDGE Signal with their ZTE modem recently. It can be solved with the following steps,

1. Please go to http://www.maxis.com.my/maxisbb to check if your ZTE modem need any upgrade
2. Open Internet Explorer and enter http://192.168.0.1, press enter
3. If you see your Network Type is showing EDGE,
4. Select Network Connect --> Manual Connect --> Disconnect, then press Submit
5. Select Network Select, and choose WCDMA Only (Not WCDMA Preferred)
6. Select Network Connect --> Manual Connect --> Connect, then press Submit
7. Select Home Page, you should see your Network Type have become UMTS or HSDPA if your are under coverage
8. Select Network Connect --> Auto Connect then press Submit

Hope this will solve your problem
