Neon's Workout Log

Current Status
Age : 22
Height : 5'9"
Weight: 77 kg
BF : 19.3 % (I highly doubt this is accurate)
Waist: 32

Goals
10-15% of Body Fat
Tone up and increasing strength (results of rapid lost weight, which I regretted )
Improves joints mobility

Supplements
Lipo6 (pre-workout only)
On 100% Whey Gold Standards
Universal Animal Flex (advised by physiotherapist)

Previously, I've embarked myself on losing bodyfat due to health problem. Weighted around 122 kg with body fat as high as 37% (if not mistaken), high blood pressure, high cholesterol, high uric acid. Started gym and been doing some circuit training. Too much cardio - but i do weight as well - caused rapid weight lost. As much as my blood test is optimistic but rather I am facing some other bad outcome of my training, joints mobility problem and loose skin. I've lost fairly large amount of lean muscles as well.

On recent updates, I've started some training with my physiotherapist (1 or 2 times per week) and taking Universal Animal Flex and On 100% Whey Gold Standards. Noticed an increase of strength and improvement on the joints itself. The weight i am using is rather light as I've expressed my concern on whether my form is right in the other thread.

Will post up my workout tomorrow - leg day.

Cheers

[addedon]January 12, 2009, 10:16 am[/addedon]Leg

Squats on Smith Machine
Warm Up Set
5 kg X 12 reps
7.5 kg X 12 reps

Work Set
10 kg X 12 reps
12.5 kg X 12 reps
15 kg X 12 reps

Leg Extension
30 kg X 12 reps
35 kg X 12 reps
40 kg X 12 reps

Leg Curls
30 kg X 12 reps
35 kg X 12 reps
40 kg X 12 reps

Leg Press
10 kg X 12 reps
12.5 kg X 12 reps
15 kg X 12 reps

Calf Press on Leg Press
Testing Set
0 kg X 12 reps

Work Set
5 kg X 12 reps X 3 set

Standing Calf Raise
15 reps X 4 set

Was trying doing Calf Press on Leg Press machine, however I'm not sure if I'm doing it correctly.
Overtrained and possible busted rotator cuff.

I've begun embarking into fat loss due to an advice from a doctor. Was having high blood pressure and possible diabetes (with lots of other health problem). I weighted 124kg back then. That was on February.

So, I've joined a gym and hired a personal trainer. He adviced me to do circuit training and I've been using it ever since. Up until now I've lost a total of 42kg without realizing it! I thought I was doing something right. I've going to gym on regular basis. Trained for at least over an hour.

At some point, when I was doing shoulder press I heard clicking sound and I couldn't bench press or do push ups as I'd want. I consulted both trainer and doctor, but nothing much was said.

I was passing this small-hardcore-gym near where I live, I'd thought I ask about the membership and stuff. I told him everything I've experienced and he immediately said that I've overtrained my body and possible busted my rotator cuff.

I'm rather worried now. No idea what to do with it either. Any pointers please?

I know there's lots of saying that I shouldn't loose so much at one time, but damage has been done. Would appreciate if anyone can help with the current issue.

Another 5kg is probably fat.
The diet that i am having now is rather drastic from what i ate last time.

On the other hand, exercise... So far I have been doing lots of cardio.
Treadmill-20 minutes (9.0 for Gradient and 5.0 for speed)
Synchro Machine-30 minutes (6-7 for Gradient)
Cycling- 10-15 minutes (5 for Gradient)

Until recently I only started weight training. With the free PT training i learned a few.
Obviously, I'm still kinda blur la and shy also
But mainly the weight is focusing on tummy, and leg more.
A little on chest, shoulder, and etc.
The PT asked me to do 3 set with 15 reps.
But often i find it rather hard to push for the third set, even if the weight is rather light only.
Basically, I am a noob. Did almost everything wrong.
Help needed! Realised that I am doing all the weight in the wrong way/posture!

On Nutrition, I am getting bored with my routine. And I've slowly gained back my appetite.
I would really need some help on what I should eat and not. Help me out guys!
Also, I try to stay away from things with too high cholesterol and nuts/beans.
As I am having rather high uric acid and cholesterol.

Also, some friend introduced me a guy that sells Nutrilite. He was persuading me into buying
the product-Meal replacement. I can't because it is wwwwwwwwwwwwayyyyyyyy out of my budget.

Help/Advice would be appreciated.

Cheers!

Fatty Liver

My doctor diagnosed with the condition of fatty liver. So I've been cutting down all my food intake and exercise regularly as what my doctor said.

But yesterday, I met with this guy that is nutritionist cum promoter of Amway(Nutrilite)-I think. He planned a program of 3 months on taking supplements to lower down my cholesterol. But it costs like RM 600+ or RM 484 per month for the whole package including the meal replacement thing. (As I am obese too)

So I did my research on fatty liver. There's lots of article that stated unsure how fatty liver can be reversed. All they say is just diet and exercise. I just wanna know the real fact of this.

Help me out guys and gals.
