Hey, I would like to know the differences between 3.5mm Mono Earphone Plug and 3.5mm Stereo Earphone Plug .

Are both of them the same thing?

Can i use 3.5mm Mono Earphone Plug to replace the normal 3.5mm Stereo Earphone Plug ?

Speed Transfer

Hey.

I would just like to share my experience on using google chrome and mozilla firefox. When I use google chrome to watch youtube videos, it loads the video quite fast compared to mozilla. And since realplayer is not synchronize with googlechrome, I am not able to download those videos from youtube directly.

I just wanna know why there are so much difference in the speed transfer between google chrome and mozilla, in terms of loading videos? Can someone give me a reasonable explanation?

I think the image is really blur. Anyway, for those who need the image as reference, please PM me asap together with your MSN address. I will send it to you.

I have asked around and realised that this has something to do with java script. Therefore, I have downloaded and installed the latest JRE, all my windows component and enabled Java and Java script.

I have also tried adding Jscript.dll to System and installed it, cleared my DNS cache through CMD and seek for help here. And yet, the problem is still there. Stuck at the loading part.

The funny thing is that my whole system is FRESHED! Just formatted it, hoping it will solve the problem and...

So what am I supposed to do? Have just sent a feedback to Microsoft regarding this matter.

By the way, to those who are not familiar or know NOTHING about this at all, please refrain yourself from posting. Thanks

Where to enable Java?

Hey there.

I have just reformat my whole system and everything is still fresh. I havent install any software yet including antivirus. Problem arises when I try to use an online scanner to scan my pendrive.

Kaspersky Online Scanner

However, at the left of the window, kaspersky error message prompted me to enable java and java script. I am using mozilla 3.0 and from what I can see from tools>options>content, java and java script are enable.

So what should I do? The system is still fresh.

Ok. As topic, how do I gain weight?

I am currently 16 years old, 175cm tall and weighing 53.5kg. Judging by that, I am of course very skinny. How do I gain at least 20kg so that my height is proportional to my height?

FYI, I have long pair of legs and a small body indeed. I play basketball often. So back to the question. How do I gain weight? What should and should not do?

The problem is that during the start-up, it takes quite some time to load the LAN and Wireless connection logo. I need to wait for them to appear after a couple of minutes before I can run anything smoothly.

I thought it could be overheating problem, so I got my laptop a cooler and it did cool down my laptop temperature by a bit but did not solve the problem?

I dont think ram would be the issue here since I only play Dota with this laptop.

I wont appreciate dumb comments

I got this specifications from one of Lex's post and wanted to build a rig according to this spec. The only thing is that I wanted to get HIS ATI Radeon HD4850 but they do not have any stock in my place. The only GCs available are Geforce and Palit. Can someone recommend any GC based on the brand given? I think they also have Forsa

Another one would be the PSU. THey do not have Silverstone but only CoolerMaster and AcBel. I have no option but to go for those limited choices. The other parts are available though.

I just wanna drop by to give a thumbs-up to the Moderating team for their quick action. I came across a topic entitled 'For the laughs' and read about it. Though I do not know what is the intention of TS starting the thread, but I do understand that TS is trying to defame other members?

Display Problem

I switched my monitor this afternoon, just to try it out. Everything went fine until the display suddenly went blank? Funny thing is that it was able to show the Windows logo first? What could be the problem here? I dont think my VGA port is faulty since the windows logo can be seen.

My dad recently got me a Samsung S760 and it is using two AA batteries to function. So I would like to know what brand of rechargeable batteries I should get? I got myself four pieces of GP 1300 MAH two years back for my Fujifilm Finepix A303 and it did not serve me well? Guess the Fujifilm camera 'ate up' a lot of battery?

Cost For Printing

Hey, I started this topic hoping it would help others to solve their wind-wind questions about the cost of printing.

Below would be on the calculation of an average basic printing I had done.

PRINTER
HP Printer F4185=RM250* (Last Year's Price )
Free Introductory Cartridge;HP 21(Black) HP22(Colour)=RM FREE

Refill ink;
HP21(Black)=RM15*
HP22(Colour)=RM19*

Original Cartridge (Optional**)
HP21(Black)=RM43.00*
HP22(Colour)=RM49.00*

*Please note that these are the prices I get last year from East M'sia (the cheapest I could get)
Also take note that the refill kits' prices varies according to brand and the genuinity. Mine is the normal quality ink type + non-genuine, so I'm not sure about the prices of those refill kits which offer good quality ink and its genuinity.

**You are highly-recommended to get these cartridges in case your print head/previous cartridge are spoiled.

HP21
Each refill for HP21 would be about 4ml. The refill kit has two 15ml syringe. That means you can refill your cartridge up to 7 times. So far I had done so and the print head is still in good condition. Each refill can print up to 20pages

7 X 20=140 pages***

HP22
Each refill for HP22 would be about 1ml++(this is because the refill kit has 3 syringe which contains 10ml per colour) That means you can refill your cartridge up to 30 times. So far I had only done once. I will post the life span for the print head once I have reached it. Each refill can print up to 10pages(fully coloured pasport-size picture in microsoft word)

30 X 10=300 pages***

***Varies on usage

These are my results after using my first refill kit for both cartridges. I hope that this would help those especially college students to solve their problem regarding getting a printer. I also hope someone could post on an average printing cost using other cartridges brand/CISS.

Hidden Files

Hey, I dont know what happen to my pc today. When i try to enable the 'Show Hidden Files And Folders' options, I was unable to do so and I need to do the other way round (selecting the DO NOT SHOW HIDDEN FILES AND FOLDERS) to show my hidden files.

In a nutshell, the options are definitely turning up-side down.

Overheating?

hey, i would like to know whether my laptop is overheating here.

I have used SpeedFan to monitor the temperature of my laptop and here is the results:

HDD : 44C
Temp1: 47C
Core 0: 57C
Core 1: 61C

*please note that SpeedFan did not state the temperature in Fahrenheit or Celsius, could be celsius because of the obvious C symbol there?

however, when i google for related topics, it gave me a confusing statement here.
