ASS subtitle and audio sync problem

I have this anime video file with ASS subtitles, that when enabled, will cause video, audio and the subtitle to lost sync. This did not happen all the time, but only at the places where the sub designer decided to over elaborate (usually karaoke parts) with the design. I have heard that ASS subtitles is a pain in the ass, because it takes so many CPU cycles, but surely with a dual-core CPU, this should not be a problem.

The problem did not happen if the subtitle is disabled.

How to solve this ASS problem?

CCCP latest version with MPC on Vista Ultimate with AMD Athlon X2 3600+.

Windows XP sound problems

I have problems with my Windows sound system. This is for my onboard audio.

At first, I thought my onboard sound has become faulty. But I plug a PCI sound card, which works well in another computer but the problem still persists. Windows detected the card/onboard sound just fine and there are no problems in the Device Manager.

Any help is appreciated.
