You guys should know the facts when compare to the 6-speeder. Quite a difference.

Get the SS-II with Super Strut(Manual) if possible.
Code: ZZT231 (Super Strut) or ZZT231 (Sports M)

What is that?
The 2 particular versions are very very rare!
Not to mention the Sports M extremely rare only 1190 units available worldwide.

Both came with super-strut suspension design, Helical LSD, 6-speeds & higher rev range.
Sports M, chassis lightened + spot-welding
Non-Super-strut (Manual), without Helical LSD.

Who needs it?
1) If you are looking for a fun & fuel consumption car to drive around.
- 45Ltr, auntie way of driving: 550-600km not a problem.
- 45Ltr, average + always late to work: 500-550km
- 45Ltr, Petter Solberg wannabe: 400km++

2) A bit of style, a bit of speed, ease of control, low-profile

3) Maintenance wise as normal Toyota sedans. Pretty standard spare parts - plenty available
Overall not much problem.

4) Car that changes its engine sounds resembled a Yamaha-superbike as it revs.

5) A 2+2 seaters car laugh.gif

6) Cheap and worth every penny

Where to get it?
Dealers usually get the auto-version, easier to get and higher profit margin.
(Not much manual imported from Japan, the Japs like the manual version too)

Try to approach the dealer, direct import in a manual version.
Some dealers do have the manual version once in a while, usually type Sports-M.

What's BAD?
1) Low rpm Seriously lacking of torque big time x 10! [Be prepared to be pwned by Kancil laugh.gif]
2) Very RPM dependency, attention & skill needed to maintain/stay @ high rpm Lifting-zone
[Takes time to tame & fully understand the engine<->tranny: Internet & Toyota material a must to read]
3) 1) + 2) + GearBox: Tight shift gate + very short throw + very close ratio = Perfect BigTime Mis-Shift
[gearbox overhaul & replacement; already a common story]
4) Extremely BASIC interior: Damn simple Centre Console & meter-gauges
[Even MyVI having a better interior design]
5) Pedal Position vs Seat Position vs Shifter Position, it just not right
6) Blind-spot that really blinds!
7) Super-strut suspension design causing mild Understeer followed by slight Oversteer @ tight turns
[Indeed strange behavior for FF-layout, Toyota said thats by design!]
8) Super-strut components cost a bomb! [Pray nothing goes wrong]
9) Sound proof doesnt really exist

Auto version
1) Limited RPM range, Frequent RPM drops out of Lifting-zone
2) Not as close ratio as manual.

What's GOOD?
1) Consider relatively good FC
2) Once tamed & understood, miracles do happen laugh.gif
3) 2) + Ball Size = Keep up with higher end cars [Atleast tailights still can be seen]
4) Lady-Frenly interiors.

Well ive been using the pc for some time......but have got to this very peculiar problem recently

Well it will first restart and goes pass boot screen goes to the win logo screen than buff restart again over and over again the same thing

The solution i found to rectify for the moment was to shut it down and turn off the PSU and turn it on again. When this is done than i am able to go to windows properly.

But still the restart will come again after some time and i have to do the on and off again..............

1) when tried to scandisk it says autocheck missing
2) havent installed anything new either h/ware or s/ware

anyone with any clue what is wrong? i am terribly mesmerized as never encountered such a problem before.

Yesterday i was trying to install some codecs and finnnally did install musicmatchjukebox(mmjb) n realplayer. Have delete all the mmjb files as it was useless in playing the files i wanted as realplayer did the job.

However today when i finally restarted since yesterday my windows loading was unbelievebly slow. and i mean really slow. it usually takes around 30 sec to post and all now takes around 5 minutes to complete. Not just that everything in the system when i multi-open it will start lagging like hell.

ive done kav virus scan, spyware scan using S&D,spywareblaster. but to no avail. CUrrently just finish scan disk and doing a defrag.
ive oso tried checking my startup files for anything funny but dont seem to see one

Im currently clueless to the reason as to why this has happen............

my spec and speed on my rig can be seen on my sig below.......

Zalman FG1000

OMG has it gone to this level
review from maximumpc.com

We've tested some crazy mice over the years, from ergonomic wonders designed to prevent RSI to dedicated gaming mice shaped like an actual handgun, but the new Zalman FPSGun is one of the oddest-looking designs we've ever tested. We approve of its neutral-grip, sensor-forward design, but the actual implementation has resulted in a mouse that's just too small for the vast majority of gamers to use.

We very much like the sensor-forward design for certain types of shooters. By moving the 2000dpi adjustable-resolution optical sensor away from the area directly beneath your hand, Zalman gives you much more precise horizontal control than a typical mouse offers, although it comes at the expense of vertical control. For gamers who play lots of headshot-oriented tactical shooters, such as Counter-Strike or Call of Duty 4, this could be a very good thing. For games that require as much vertical movement as horizontal, you'll need to load up the included software and tweak the vertical sensitivity pretty heavily.

Zalman got quite a bit right with the design, placing two triggers on the forward-facing edge of the grip, but moving the mouse wheel beneath your thumb. There's also a pair of thumb buttons and a profile-switching button on the front portion of the mouse. While the mouse ships with three default sensitivity profiles, you can manually adjust the sensitivity- and refresh-rate settings for each profile using the included software, and you can instantly tell which profile is active by looking at the multicolored, illuminated scroll wheel.

Unfortunately, the mouse is much too small to comfortably hold if you have normal-size hands. Because you hold the FPSGun with your hand in a vertical position, the blade of your hand rests on the mousing surface. In order to keep your fingers on the trigger button, you need to splay your pinky out to the side of the mouse, which can become quite uncomfortable-not to mention the dirtying effect your grubby mitts will have on your mousepad. Factor in that its unique design makes it difficult to use for more typical desktop work, and it's difficult to endorse this rodent.

p/s: sorry if this is old news

Toyota celica parts to change

currently awaiting the car to arrive from europe. its a 2002 toyota celica 1.8 vvti. my questions are:

1. What are the main/major components that need to be changed when bringing the car back from europe.(anyway it is a right handed car). What i mean is any components that will not withstand malaysia's heat in particular

2. Where can i get proper accesories for the car whether in KL/shah alam/pj is of preference (inclusive of body kits, spoilers etc of high quality and good finish). Most definitely at reasonable prices yaa

i think thats it for now will add on later if got anymore questions

Should i change any position of the fans or change their place for better airflow?
3. The heatsink currently used us the thermaltake v1 and is facing upwards towards the psu? should i change it to face and blow towards the back panel instead?
