Need Advice for Warranty Claim

Hi all,

jz my luck today, finally got a new game i wanted to play, and suddenly got hit by the famous 3ROD

i followed the instructions on low yat and other websites and determined its an Error 19 (Unknown: GPU Error this is usually caused by bridged solder points where the GPU connects to the mainboard. )

my console is NOT modded, and was bought July 2008, which is still within the new 3 year warranty. im using an Xbox 360 elite, forgot how to check which Chip it is using~

now the thing is, i need advice on how to claim warranty for it.

Do i:
a. call up Singapore support and ship it there for warranty?
b. contact the shop i bought it from?
c. submit an online repair request (but Malaysia is not among the list they accept online repair requests)
d. forget warranty and use the repair services offered in this forum (which is the LAST option i wish to take as console is still under warranty)

i would appreciate some advice on procedures on claiming the warranty as well as i have nvr claimed warranty for my console before.

do help me!!!! i need advice!!!

am looking for Too Human for the Xbox 360, prefer USED ones plz im hoping we can nego a price for it depending on the condition of the disc and if it comes with box & manual.

i live in Damansara Perdana, so i would prefer we could COD somewhere nearby as i work till quite late on weekdays. also, i would prefer only to COD (even if its brand new).

Info on gaming laptops

Hi all,

im currently looking for a gaming laptop, did alot of research over the past 2 weeks and i guess its now down getting some professional advice

My questions:
1. i found info on the XPS M1730, one of the best gaming laptops i've ever seen!!!!! too bad DELL no longer sells it does anyone know where i can still get a brand new one? FYI - the new Alienware DELL is selling is crap IMHO, so i wont consider that.

2. i've discovered that ASUS has some good gaming laptops as well, like the G50 and G7x series. but nowhere on the net can i find a pricelist on any of them! does anyone know where i can get them from? a website? a contact person or maybe even a shop i can call??

3. i may consider a DELL XPS16 (w/ 512MB ATI Radeon HD 3670) or a DELL Vostro 1720 (w/ 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GS) as both a reasonably affordable. which one is a better GPU?

[WTA] Notebook Casing Repair

HI all,

i really need some help. i am using a DELL Inspiron 8600 with widescreen and the latch which connects the LCD casing and the main body has broken. Now the LCD screen wont stay up or stay in place... it's like a screw lose.

I got a quote from DELL and it will cost me RM390!! seems too much for a just a simple casing replacement.

I am looking for any repair shops in Low Yat which can repair this problem. i dont care if the casing isnt from DELL as you will only need to change the casing housing the LCD screen and not the whole thing.

All i need is:
1. good workmanship
2. Warranty on the casing
3. Fast repair (within a few hours would be great)
4. Cheaper than DELL

I need to get this repair very very urgently as i am going overseas next wednesday for business...
