Freeze when playing games

Okay, not so recently, my comp would freeze if I tried to play any games. More so when it is graphics intensive(no, not Crysis). Sometimes it doesn't freeze until after a while.
But today, when I tried to play NFS Pro Street(just installed), it just freezes when I tried to start the first career race. It keeps on freezing every time I tried to load that race. But not only this game though, mind you. It happens on others, even online games but more random and sometimes never.

My specs are in my sig. I'm thinking it could be a PSU problem or could be my GC getting old... So what do you think is the problem?
BTW, while not playing any games, it runs fine, like right now.

Hard Drive Question

So my 2nd oldest computer is practically dead but it has a hard drive which I want to put into my newer computer.

It's IDE/ATA so there would be no problems if I were to put it just like that into the new comp(I'm still using IDE/ATA here) in Slave config, right?
I'm a bit worried there might be a clash of OS since it still have WinXP in it.

Cannot boot PC after installing 2nd hard drive...

Okay, so today PC Fair so I decided to buy me a hard drive.

But once I install it inside the comp, it won't boot up! My computer hang after BIOS loads and can see a dash on top blinking like forever.

So, what did I did wrong or didn't do?

PS: The BIOS can detect the new hard drive.

PSS: It looks like a problem with the boot sector of Windows Vista.

Cannot turn on my computer...

Okay. After a sudden blackout, I tried to turn on my computer but to no avail.

The first few times I tried it didn't make a beep sound. I stopped and wait for a while, then tried again. But, this time it made the beep sound but THEN turns itself immediately off. NOW, I cannot even turn it on, no lights, no sound.

It's very frustrating since I want to do something on it and now it cannot even turn on.

For reference sake, this comp is 3 years plus already and running an old AMD Sempron. I wonder if it could be the PSU is too old?

Some help needed

I had this problem since earlier last month of November. When my DSL gets disconnected, the DSL light will flicker for a long time before it is able to synchronize. It takes from 10 minutes to more than an hour sometimes and this is annoying. Even if it connects to the internet, the speed is very slow, downloads max out at 10kB/s where it was 50kB/s before. At some point, even if I am connected, nothing loads.

I have yet to call TMNet but I feel this is something I should ask some advice first as I have a bit of experience with calling them, giving the same old excuses. I read somewhere on the forum that calling them repeatedly might help, but I not sure, so help?

Hopefully this is the right forum for this. ^^
