This is the 5th installment of Sino Local DotA LAN Party. The lucky winners of previous 4 competition have their time at Sino-Net, there's even players who already won 4 times at SLLP and enjoy free play at Sino-Net for 2 years.

The tournament it's open to all Selangor participants, furthermore winner will get sponsor by Sino-Net to attend all major DotA tournaments held in Malaysia.

Will the players continue to obtain their "Mega Kill" streak or will there be new faces that is strong enough to end their "dominating" streak. It all happens at May 2009, come and witness the battle and the winner that will walk away with total of RM27,000 of free gaming credit.

Reformat HP Pavilion a736d failed?

Hi there,

I have a HP Pavilion a736d which my friend asked me to help him reformat it.

It comes with Pentium 4 2.93Ghz, 512mb ram.

I tried format and install Windows XP for more than 5 times.

Everytime after installing Windows XP, it reboot and after the Windows loading screen it just went blank.

I tried installing with 2 different Windows XP cd still no luck. Quick and normal NTFS format also resulting the same.

Later on I tried installing with Windows Vista *ahem* version 1

It does works, load into windows without problem.

Any idea what's the problem? Running vista with that rig is a no no.

Any one knows where can I find this kind of cables at Malaysia?

Converts a single PCI-Express to dual 6-pin PCI-E or dual 8pin PCI Express 2.

Purchase from oversea each one cost around RM40

Even PCI-E extension cable also hard to find, I went LYP most shop don't have this cables.

Anyone know where to find, or anyone who knows how to custom made this cables?

- I got these because of a few logical reasons. I have a Razer copperhead and I couldn't find any replacement feet for it and the glide tapes are too messy for me. The only thing I don't like about this product is that the feet look kind of bigger in the picture than what they really are, but they still work fine for me.

Got a problem with my friend PC, not sure how to fix it.

WMV video showing fine in Windows Media Player. If open with Media Player Classic then show weird colour. Then the PPstream videos also showing weird colour.

Using K-lite mega codec, reinstall already also same. Here's some screenshot of the problem.

Any idea how to fix it?

Hi guys,

Please help me out with this, my sidebar suddenly got replaced by a smiley face as shown in the screenshot I took. and the text widgets which is supposed to be there now shows at the bottom of the page after the last post entry.

Any idea what cause this and how to fix it?

Printer "end of service life"

Hi guys,

Yesterday my Epson C43 printer suddenly not working anymore. Can't print any file.

Today the EPSON utilities show me error saying something like that "Parts inside your printer are at the end of their service life. Contact your dealer for replacement."

So does that mean I can throw the printer away lolx. Doesn't worth repairing since printer nowadays so cheap.

Possible to Mod Notebook into Desktop?

Hi all the sifus here,

Just trying my luck here, see anyone can guide me in modding my notebook into desktop.

I'm now using a notebook but the LCD already spoil and the casing has crack underneath. It's quite an old notebook but it still serve me well just that couldn't play newer games with it. I'm now leaving the notebook aside and connect it to external keyboard/mouse and LCD.

I'm buying a desktop real soon to replace it. I was thinking whether can I remove the notebook casing and put it into a desktop case.

The notebook is BenQ Joybook 5000,
Pentium M 1.3ghz
512mb Ram
ATI Mobility Radeon 9000.

Is there anyway to let XP program run in Vista?

Hi guys,

recently bought a notebook which is pre-installed with vista.

Now the problem is I got this software SQL business suite which include SQL Account/Payroll that need me to run it in XP.

The notebook hdd comes without partition, If I wanna install 2 OS in it I would need to create partition and wipe out the datas right? Then I won't be able to recover the windows vista as well.

Is there anyway that can make a program run under xp environment in vista?
Please suggest me any solution, duwan to end up making 2 partition and use *ahem* *ahem* windows.
