Adding resolution option to games

Hi all

I just want to know how to add extra resolution on my Games.

For example , Medal of honor : Airborne supports 800x600 , 1024x640 , 1024x768 etc...

It stated that clearly it supports wide screen ( 1024x640 ), but i wish to play it at 864x640 , so is there anyway i can do to add this option to the game?

24" Monitor with HDMI input

Hi all

I want to get myself a 24" monitor , which obviously with HDMI input , along with VGA and DVI input as well.

And the main purpose of this is to function as my computer screen , and Xbox gaming screen as well.

So i need it to have a typical pc speaker output (of course , the sound comes from both HDMI input and my computer sound output , which uses VGA and the typical pc speaker output line )

, just the green coloured hole will be enough , no inbuild speaker required , i am going to hook it to my 2.1 logitech pc speaker.

Price is a great factor here , the cheaper the better , i found what i want on Dell , but the price is a big pain. Any brand will be fine , as long as the quality is not too bad , and the after service will cover some extend of insurance.

Connect RCA to pc system

Hi

I want to connect RCA to pc system.

Simply put , i want to convert yellow cable to VGA or DVI input

And convert the white and red cable to my standard pc speaker input.

Are there any cable converter?

And is it better to get a Box? Which is obviously much much more expensive?

Hi

I bought the Saitek Cyborg Rumble pad with FPS button , it said that after enable the Xinput , it should function like Xbox360 contoller , but it wont work in GTA4. And some other games such as Rise Of Agnous etc , and no vibration as well.

Is there anything wrong? Or i need to update the driver?

Anyone knows the ans?

Well

As the title said , please recommend a Xbox360 like Controller for pc , well ,as in "like Xbox360" , doesnt means the shape , it can be any comfortable shape , i prefer PS style more

What i meant was , we know that soe games only support Xbox 360 controller vibrates , while others controller will not have this function regardless whether they have vibrator inside them or not

I think this is not fare , as wired XBOX360 controller are RARE in the market ( Maybe already extinct?) , and i chouldnt buy a controller fearing that the game doesn't support its vibrator.

I already have a powerwave controller , but until now , the only game it does support vibrates is NFS...

What a let down ,so guys , please recommend some XBOX360 controller replacement , or some ways to make the games support the controller's vibration

I downloaded the ultimate community patch for RE4 , but after install it , my graphic gets all green and pink.

After i uninstall the patch , it turns ok...

So , how to fix this?

Hi all

Just wondering where you guys downloading mods for games?

I have been into modding because of the texture mod for the Resident Evil 4 for pc.

The texture packs upgrade the graphic , and as the result , it looks much much much better than the original one.

But unfortunately , it seem hard to find sites contain all kinds of mods , for massive titles of games we known, along with pictures.

Of course , i am not only talking about the graphic mods , but also , mission mods, character mods etc..

Well , last time i was able to hear mpo for RM10 , but it was a bulk booking , as we go in with 30 other friends

I just realize that pc fair is here

And i want to buy a gaming mouse , still deciding getting myself a salmosa or a logitech

Anyway , the question is as above , is it a good idea to buy it at pc fair?

Some say it will be cheap , but is it really true?

And i heard that what they sell is actually something old , to make space for new products to come in.

Please recommend a good gaming mouse

My budget will be around RM200-300 , will top up if if there is a huge difference.

And the mouse must be wired , i hate wireless mouse

Hi all

I have a Dell 1520 with an intergrated webcam

I was wondering how to increase the framerate from the average or 7 fps to about 30?

Currently using "Dell webcam Center" , and i want to encode video using that with codec "WMV"

Well , the ultimate goal is simply encode something with good framerate and small size , the resolution can be as low as 3XX x 2XX

Set games resolution for widescreen

How to set the game resolution other than the in game option?

I want a 16:10 resolution but most game only provide 1280X800 , which is the max resolution , but consider the performence , i want a resolution of 1024X 640 , which is not offered

I tried to edit the shortcut by adding " -xres 1024 -yres 640 " , but the in game resolution is still 1280X640

Anyway to do it?
