How to safely put Laptop in Car

Since there are many cases like "pecah cermin car"..What do you guys usually do for your laptop when you like going for shopping,RNR(Rehat & Rawat at Highway) and any places where you will need to break/leave your car.
Or did u bring it together with you?If thats so,isnt that so hard?Is there any other way to avoid such case happend?It is so hard to keep/bring it with you wherever you go.Even my friend's parent go RNR for awhile,back few mins =GG edy.Luckily it is not laptop,but just look-alike laptop bag.

So any advise is appreciated.

What brand is good,cheap and reliable?

If possible the best(probaby the range?)?I dont know to "explain" the best for Wireless.So i hope you guys could help me.
