Repairing the Creative i-trigue 2.1 speaker

Hi all,

i have a creative i-trigue 2.1 speaker which last for 4 yrs. but recently the subwoofer seems having problem. when i was watching movie or listening music, the "base" would faded, and i can onli hear the treble. no base at all which make the sounds sucks. after awhile it would re-appear. I have try with the same songs, the time of the "base" faded would be different. so i confirm is not the source which cause it.

Before this, i have some problem with the volume controller of it. it is a wheel control, when i turn it on, sometimes the volume will be slower even i turn it higher. i suspect maybe this thing is giving the problem for the base too, becoz it also have the base control on it.

do you guys experience any of this on your speaker or on this model? '
is there any chance to repair it. or any chance to get a spare part?
what will it costs?

Thank you!!!
