hi guys, do you guys think i can build a phenomIIx4 955BE under rm1500?
things i will reuse:
1) Huntkey 550w psu
2) viewsonic vx2433wm
3) IDE HDD
4) mouse, keyboard, speakers

can you guys please help me on a mobo with decent onboard graphic like the ati 4200 built in, processor if there is any better suggestion, at least an am3 board with ddr3 ram?

i would upgrade my psu and add on a graphic card when i have enough moolah.

so please, sifu sifu sekalian, recommend me the parts and price for it please. thank you very much

i encounter some problem. here goes:

i shut down my pc. removed my stock hsf to clean it inside out. put back the hsf. then plug back the power. it wouldn't turn on, no hdd spinning, hsf not spinning, psu not spinning. i jump started the psu, it's working fine. i tried my HDD on my brother's computer it's working fine, so where can the problem be?

can it be my mobo? ( there is light on the mobo when i plug in the cables and etc)

or don't tell me it's the processor?

i have a vx2433wm, the otherday i unplugged my pc and connected it to my tv via a dvi->vga converter. then i plugged it back to my vx2433wm directly by dvi cable.

i turned it off, then when i turn it on, it shows "no signal", i replug the dvi cable behind my monitor, it shows up again. then i plug in another vga cable it only detects the vga now and not the dvi.

is this monitor problem or GC problem. i'm using an old school pc btw, the gc im having is ati9550ge

hi there, there is no fanboi issue here but i've been looking forward for an AMD built system
i'm still stuck in the P4 era and it's starting to fail me already

i was wondering if i could build a amd phenomII 955BE system with this budget including a 24" monitor?? no speakers, keyboard, mouse included.
am hoping it could last me around 3-4years to come?
i will be playing mostly FPS games, will like to try out crysis if possible.

your recommendations and comments are appreciated.
