Recently i have just signed an offer letter which the post is informix developer.

I have about 2 years working experiences in Java and i was doing mobile application in my current company.
The new company is ok with my 0 knowledge of Informix and she said they will provide training for new staff.

Anyhow, i am wondering if i take up this skill and what is career path in the future?

Please advice.

i cant accept my bf is a smoker

we've been together for around 2 months..eventhough it's only two month, it seems like a year for nomal couple as he is my housemate and we live together.

it's pretty sweet at the beginning, but it getting bitter now..

He is a smoker , i know, and i hate smoker. before we started, he used to tell me, he was quit for sometimes when he was with his ex. ya, this give the assumption that, he will quit if we get together. after few months he moved in to this house, we become couple.

now, he is still smoking. i have told him many many times, i don feel confortable when he smokes. i understood he need sometimes to quit, or take it lesser and lesser. i have seen he was trying hard at the begining. 2 days a pack become 3 days a pack...then full stop.

he buy cigeratte in front of me and he smoke in front of me. yes, i feel not happy and my heart feel pain too.. EVenthough he notice about this, he do nothing to cheer me up, he will just keep quiet and walk away. it make me feel hurt.

day after day, i found i cant take it anymore.it makes the relationship worse...

i always think if he don love me enough so he cant quit for me?
is it my feeling is not important for him, therefore he keep doing thing i don like?

the biggest issue i am facing now is..i don feel secure in this relationship.

so, my friends,how shall i talk to him ?

I heard my friend said, i need to attend an exam first and get the license before i can start to sell the unit trust

The first day i started work in this company, i met a guy in the lift during lunch time.
He was out for lunch with his colleague, same to me. we went to the same restaurant, sitting quite near to each other.
we are working in the same company but different department. in fact, i am not sure which he is from which department since the whole building is belong to our company..

Then just now, i met him again ...around 3 weeks after our first met..then i really feel the crush btw us
The problem now is...
How can i approach him?????

yesterday i attended an interview in pj and the interviewer asked

"Can you work under pressure?"

of course, without any doubt i answered "yes"

Therefore, he wanted me to give an example.

i was figured out what i had experienced in my final semester during my degree course,
such like taking 5 subjects included final year project, therefore i was very busy and i felt pressure in the last month of the semester( submit assignments' and fyp by the due date and prepare for final exam)

He said this is due to lack of planning and bad time management rather than able to work under pressure....

so, my question is what do u think about " work under pressure"?

where is the pressure from ?
why u feel the pressure?

i just read a thread mentioned a very good type of gal, so i wonder what is a characteristic of a bad gal?

take me as an example...

i like clubbing, but not too frequent, let say, once a month

i like wine and beer, but i don smoke

i like to hang out with friends, male or female, quite frequent, almost every weekend, as long as i am free
we go shopping, watching movie,playing bowling, sing karaoke, playing mahjong..

i like to stay at home and watch TVB series too

i skipped kinda lot of classes and i don like to study

so..a gal like me, is a bad gal or good gal?

i personally support myself still a good gal

so, just want to know, how u judge a gal is a bad gal? any specific characteristic or behavior?

if ur bf keep his ex's photo in his purse....

this is a very bad experience i have gone thru...

after i paktok with my bf after 2 months i found a photo ( he and his ex) in his purse....

in fact, i don really know what shall i response for this, he acted like nothing but it really make me feel very uncomfortable..

so ..here i would like to know how u guys handle this if u are in my shoes...

As a fresh graduate from Information Technology, i would like to know is it better to involve myself in a low level language or high level language programming environment?

i would liike to look for a job v high chances of travelling and training provided.

i am more to .NET , however, i am quite interested in SAP since this is the trend for the current and future market...

any suggetion about which company shall i apply?
