I recently bought a custom com with:

- P4 processor
- microstar pm8pm- v 7222 main board
+integrated graphics, ac97 audio, 10/100mbps ethernet
- 1gb kingston sdram
- 1 dvd drive
- monitor, keyboard, mouse speakers.

I don't know why but everytime i want to play a media file, the comp says cannot cuz there isn't a audio device even though i already plugged in the speakers in the right place. I know it's not the speaker's problem cuz it works well with my old comp.

Anyone knows what's causing this prob? I'm thinking maybe i'm missing some com parts or software.
