Hidamari Sketch centers around a young girl named Yuno who finally is able to get accepted into Yamabuki Art High School, which she has longed for. To attend the school, Yuno moves and starts to live in a small apartment building named the Hidamari Apartments (ひだまり荘, Hidamari-sō) located near the school. Once there, she starts making new friends like her classmate Miyako and the second year students, Hiro and Sae. There is no real plot line to the story but rather the events of the characters' everyday lives are shown as they attend the school together and get to know each other better.

The actions of a few Korean internet users have been arousing criticism from South Korea. The internet users in question created parodies that describe the Taliban, which abducted 23 Koreans and killed one of them, as nice people known as "Tsundeban."

As of July 27th, several parodies were uploaded onto a website called DC Inside, a popular forum in South Korea that specializes in photos and images.

"Tsundeban" is a made-up word created by combining "Taliban" and "Tsundere" in Japanese. "Tsundeban" suggests that although the Taliban seems cruel, its members are actually warm-hearted people.

Earlier this month, Taliban fighters kidnapped 23 Korean Christians from a bus in Afghanistan, and announced that "they would be killed within 24 hours unless South Korea withdrew its 200 troops (actually engineers, doctors and medical staff) from Afghanistan." After giving a 24-hour extension, one of the Korean hostages was killed.

Internet users have been spreading these "Tsundeban" comics every time the Taliban postpones the deadline of the negotiation. The satirical comic makes fun of the situation of the hostages and the Korean government. For example, one of the hostages says, "give me a hamburger," and a negotiator from the Korean government says "I don't have any interest in the negotiation."

On the other hand, the comic describes the Taliban as nice people who pity the hostages, and postpones the deadline of the negotiation when a hostage begs: "don't kill me."

Such sentiments have existed since the beginning of this abduction incident. Although some internet users are calling this negotiation a "Taliban comedy," it's not something to be joked about. A man was killed, and 22 people are still in danger. Comments such as "Who could enjoy this manga? Human lives are in danger" and "I reported you to the police" were posted on websites and blogs where these comics are being distributed.

The "Tsundeban" comic is based on Churuya-san, a popular 4-koma series created by Utsura Uraraka.

About 5 days ago, my computer caught a worm, or was possibly even hacked, or both.

This is what the anonymous perp did:

Even though I never use IE, it still gets defaced nonetheless.

All attempts of scanning (Avast, Ad-Aware, Trojan Remover) and registry editing to remove what was vandalised were futile; it just kept coming back again.

Later, I set my Explorer to see hidden files and folders, I discovered two hidden items in two of my slave HDDs (in Drive 'D' and 'E', respectively): autorun.inf and autoupdate.dll.vbs.

Upon opening the two hidden files, this is what it contains:

Again, I tried Regedit to remove them (by searching the names of the two files) and tried deleting both files but they just kept getting regenerated again. How do I solve this without resorting to exterminatus?

What is ecchi?

ETYMOLOGY
One theory states that ecchi derives from the first letter of the word hentai, however the two words have different meanings. The word hentai as a noun describes a sexually perverted person, but not sexual intercourse. It is not used as a verb, and when it is used as an adjective, it refers to something associated with perverts, e.g. hentai puree usually refers to BDSM sex play.

ENGLISH USAGE
In English, the word is often used in the context of manga and anime. The term Ecchi is applied to anime or manga that has vague sexual content (such as skimpy clothing, partial or full nudity), but does not show sexual intercourse. However, ecchi has historically often been used as a synonym of hentai, presumably due to confusion of the two; thus it can carry different connotations than allowed for by the original Japanese. In recent years, however, its use by English-speakers has largely realigned with the Japanese meaning - although H (pronounced as the standard aitch) has become a completely separate term, inclusive of all of the above.

The ecchi art style is loosely comparable to pin-up girl artwork, as well provocative fantasy and comic book art in the United States and other countries. Typical features include:

- Clothing that outlines the shape of the breasts, nipples, and labia, suggesting tightness of clothing and arousal.

- Uniforms, costumes, or outfits that may be provocative, but are worn as everyday clothing by the character.

- Characters who are unaware of their sexuality, appear innocent or cheerful, or sly and mischievous.

- Clothing that is falling off or being pulled off, notably swimsuits.

- Upskirt panty shots and cleavage.

- Suggestive or phallic imagery, such as Japanese mayonnaise bottles.

- Exaggerated sexual attributes, often on normal or petite figures to give a sense of contrast. Especially used in doujinshi and fanart, where a character may appear more sexualized than normal.

- Cute or innocent character with obvious sexual appearance or clothing.

However, anything besides that ESPECIALLY YAOI are banhammered! All users have the rights to report to mods and remove such offensive posts for the sake of keeping this thread clean of useless junk. If you wish to post something which can be deemed offensive due to excessive, unintentional nudity, or anything other that can be considered extreme in nature, please make a clickable link for that image or material instead of posting it directly. 5. Images with file sizes larger than 150kb and a resolution larger than 1024 x 768 SHOULD appropriately be thumbnailed to avoid slowdowns (Streamyx sucks, they don't deliver their promise). However, vertically large images (e.g: 500 x 900) are alright to be displayed in full, as long as the first criteria (file size) is met. ~~If the images feature anything extreme like exposed breast or private parts, always thumbnail em' for obvious reasons (please, do keep some sense of decency)~~ No images that shows clearly exposed nipples (not covered with clothes) and private parts (ditto as previous). This ain't an Imageboard after all. Please remember to be extra careful with what sort of materials you're going to post here. The Mods in this particular forum section are a bit strict and will punish/warn you without any question should you've done anything that breached the rules.

6. Keep trolling to a minimum. Unlike other threads in the General section of LowYat, posting related images keeps this thread alive. However, each post has a limit of around 10~12 images per post, and the number of posts may increase rapidly depending on how many images a user is able to obtain through his romp in various sites and imageboards. Therefore, it is important for one to be conservative on the amount of posts or replies being posted in this thread to guarantee a long, prosperous life before reaching the 2500 post limit.

7. Similar to above but slightly different:
NO DRAMAS, NO ADVERTISEMENT, NO FLAME WARS, NO FAGGOTRY, NO FURRIES OR ANYTHING THAT IS NOT THE MAIN FOCUS OF THIS THREAD! See the third BOLD sentence in Rule 4 for details on what actions a user can take against such posts. Kapish?

8. NO DIRECT-LINKING GODDAMMIT! Trust me, it won't work. If you find any images worth sharing, save em' first and then host it using an image hosting service like Imageshack (recommended).

9. NEVAR REVEAL YOUR SOURCE! The last thing we need are n00bs flooding direct-linked images from the original source. By revealing your sources, you'll reduce the 'competitive' nature of contributing users as everyone would go "Oh plz, this shit has been reposted a million times over the Interweb". Reminder: reposted images are fine and tolerable (as long as it's a good one), but it is recommended for the user to contribute more materials into his post to avoid other users from viewing his contribution to this thread as being a waste of posting space.
