Hip pain. Need advice

Recently i suffer from this hip pain (on the right). The pain starts when i wake up and about to get up from the bed. I did some research and found out that there is a few possibilities.

1. My sitting hours while at work

2. Mattress condition degraded

3. sleeping posture (since i have a reasonable history of leaning on right side while sleep)

4. improper chair for home office

But, research came along with some self treatment tips as well as advice to visit a chiropractor for advice or worse, adjustment on the hip. So far i have done some self massage and it did give some temporary relief but what worries me is how long i am going to suffer this and loosing myself some exercise in my workout routine

Any advice? Should i resume doing self treatment (rolling massage on the tension area with a tennis ball) or skip all that and pay for a visit to the chiropractor?

Q: Is this server opened to everyone? Will Malaysia IP be blocked?
A: I can assure you that Malaysia IP wont be blocked like what had happen back in Codemaster's server. CCR have promised not to block any region from accessing to the global server. Philippines, China, Russia, Brazil will be blocked in near future.

Q: Will the server be laggy if played from Malaysia with <insert your current ISP>
A: From my very best knowledge, RFO have no latency issues if connected from Malaysia with any ISP.

Q: There are two server to choose from. Which one should i go for?
A: Before the launch, CCR finalized that Novus will be the server for restored characters through events while Dahin is for those who seek for fresh adventure. Dahin server is recommeded for new or returning players

Q: p2p or f2p?
A: f2p with the support of Cash Shop

Q: Is this client the same with the Korean?

Odd HDD activity

Greetings!

I reformatted me computer this morning and backup all possible documents into a backup HDD. Upon reinstalling Windows XP 64-bit, i realize that the backup HDD started to have this weird activity on each time i tried to browse the content. It freeze the explorer while the HDD LED stay lighted without any blink. After awhile, it goes back till normal until i start to browse the contents again.

Oh, my previous OS is Windows Vista SP-1 as i am tired of the activation issues i have been facing since day one of purchase.

Hardware information :

AMD 64 4200+
8GB DDR2
Quadro FX 3500

1x Maxtor 120GB PATA ( This is the problem HDD )
1x Seagate 200GB(?) SATA
1x Western Digital Raptor 80GB(?) SATA

Ok, my Power supply just died off due to +12v rail serious issues and in need to get these ASAP.

Raidmax Smilodon casing / Coolermaster CM 690.

Corsair HX 520w PSU.

Arctic Cooling thermal compound.

AFAIK, Last seen which is early December last year, I manage to see Smilodon is still on sale in ALL IT but how about CM 690 and the Corsair HX 520w PSU.. it is a waste that i didnt drop by at the section and look around.

Any potential luck to get a good thermal compund in lowyat too? Need it badly as i in need this computer to run by this week

A rough guide on how to choose / buy hermit crab

Things should you look out for is grayish legs and blurry eyes if the hermit crab crawls out. That means the crab is about to go through molting. Choose at risk.

It is fine to have the crab close to your hand so that it will come out from its shell so you can have a good look of it.

Most crabs were shy and always in the shell. DO NOT press the hermit crab to force it out, the more you press them, the longer they hide. This build up stress to the crab.

Shell condition is important. Any cracks on the shell is not recommended for new owners as the cracks will bring injuries to the crab's abdomen.

Active crabs is easy to spot, those that crawl up and down are actives. Also active crabs sometimes brings harm. If you are getting anything larger than Ecuadorian crab, don't let it pinch you.

This is important, DO NOT BUY ANY COLORED SHELL crabs. Toxin from the color will gradually infect the crab so avoid totally. It is recommended to get crabs with natural shells.

Related to the point above, you will need to have to buy extra shells for the crabs so get the ones that is the SAME size what that crab is currently wear.

Short pros and cons of keeping hermit crab as pet
---------------------------------------------------------
Pros :

They are small, relatively cheap in food, general care and enviroment setup aka. crabitat construction.
Clean and allergic free.
Cute in appearance.

Cons :
Very messy as time goes by.
Unpredictable behavior depends on humidity, temperature.
Stinks badly if the crab died for 36 hrs.
Short life in Captivity. 40 years in nature .vs 4 years in tank.

Computer shutdown without warning

I have gone through the stickies FAQ and the problem i have is not / close related to it.

I got a new proc today which is a AMD64 4200+ X2 Manchester core which i bought from a forumer in Lowyat and i then proceed to install it into the computer.

On the first reboot, it runs smooth for 1 hour and the computer shutdown without warning. And the problem started to surfaced till now.

Currently, i revert back to the old processor which is a 3000+ in order to access to the forum and to have my friend to finish up her projects.

My question is :

I knew that there is a few possibilities on what cause the auto shutdown but i hardly find the acutal cause of it. Here is the spec of the computer ;

Foxconn NF4K8AC mainboard
4x 1GB DDR400 Kingston ValueRAM
Powerlogic Magnus 250 power supply (250w pure / 500w max)
1x 250GB SATA 3GBps HDD
1x 120GB IDE ATA100 HDD
1x LG DVD+/-RW Drive
1x PCI slot fan
XFX 8600GTS 256MB DDR3

According to the temperature reading, the idle is @ 26c while its full load is @ 42c while using the stock AMD HSF.

With reference from the other hardware websites, the temperature is common and the powersupply is sufficient to run those. Hope anyone would help / assist me on the problem since it is kind of urgent since the user of the computer needed the processor horsepower

Upgrading advice

Currently i own a D100 and a second hand D1. With the release of D300, i drooled badly when reading through the features and the new look if its battery pack.

My question is as follows :

1. co-current new D300 owners do welcome to share its performance and if possible how well it handle with continuous shot with battery pack equipped?

2. I am more into candid shots and some nature photography so would D300 bring some advantage to my work or should i just stick with my current D100? Note : I use D100 mostly for nature photography due to its size and weight. If you were wondering, the D1 is for staged / studio photography and action packed scene.

Hope to have some friendly advice as i am planning for my next year spending budget

Worried over a girl

Ok here is the situation :

I called up my gf on Saturday to check on her see how is she doing with her activities. At that time she is in Malacca and will be back home on Sunday (yesterday). So, as usual, i call her and no pick up.. then i waited for another 1/2 hr and try again, no pick up so rinse repeat till 1am.. still no pick up.

This morning, i call her again and no pick up whatsoever. So i am pretty worried and since our relationship isnt that mature yet, i am pretty scared she is avoiding me but on serious thoughts, she may be in some kind of trouble ( not shy to say this )

Some points to take note :

a. She have yet to give me her house phone and address as she stated she would only give me in future.

So any advice on such situation? Alternatively, i wanted to clear up my head atm.

My girlfriend who worked there is complaining the streamyx connection is dead for more than a week now after they moved in to the new office in Bandar Bukit Tinggi, Klang.

As the location is new, TM technician came over and lay the phone line for the office and he even activate the port for the office as well and was told that it can be used.

Its more than a week now after the move in and numerous calls to TM CS center and they are blind over the situation claiming that there is no outrage in the place.

I am here to see if anyone here who worked there that able to use streamyx to share some confirmed information? Thanks in advance!

No ADSL Signal. What is the possible cause of it?

I have been using Streamyx since 2001 and after the silent upgrade to account cap of 2MBPS, my signal weakens and till last friday, my modem cant capture any ADSL Signal. I called up Customer Service and they confirm that my DSL strength for my area is not in coverage which is SS26, Taman Mayang Jaya. It works fine at 4am in Friday morning and signal lost starts at 8am on the same day.

The funny thing is, a soccer friend of my who use streamyx 4 houses away says his internet is ok except frequent ADSL light blinking but his SNR and LA is very very good compare to mine :

his SNR/LA : 23 / 52

my SNR/LA : 12 / 56

Its very obvious that only 4 houses away, the difference is huge. This readings was made before i lost my DSL signal fully. Still, i am curious, what would have cause such thing to happen and as far as i know, this is my very first time having full lost of ADSL Signal.

Do cheer me up because its been the 3rd day i am feeling very restless without Internet and my MMO addiction makes me crave for chocolate.. also my projects is all stucked!

I did a pre-order and i have not install and activate my account yet due to some unhappy news and rants about the game and its bugs, Since its hard to trust those rantings and whining, i was hoping to see some local VSoH players voice out on how is their progress in here before i made a decision to sell the access code and key to potential buyers.
