Man bites and chews snake which bit him

As the saying goes, it is news when a man bites a dog. It is more so when a man bites a snake and chews off a good parth of its length.

That was what Ramesh Jamda, 25, of Bhubaneswar in Orissa, India did.

According to Kolkata's The Telegraph, the gardener of the city’ park was doing his daily routine of cutting the grass Saturday morning, when he felt a sharp pain in his thumb.

It was a rat snake with its fangs locked on his thumb. As Ramesh tried to shake off the reptile, it dug its fangs deeper into the flesh, increasing his pain.

In desperation, the man used a pair of scissors to remove the snake. The reptile finally removed its grip and fell off.

The furious gardener retaliated by grabbing the snake and bite it, tail onwards. In his fury he bit and chewed two thirds of the 0.03 metre-long (its 30cm according to this sause, typo from dailychilly i guess) snake.

The paper reported that a few minutes after the act, he felt queasy, started vomitting and passed out.

Other park workers rushed Ramesh to the hospital.

"I was angry when the snake bit me. I bit it back because that was my way of taking revenge," Ramesh told doctors later.

THE CAR IS FULLY STOCK 1.8L, NO APPEARANCE MODIFICATION DONE, A SMALL DENT WHICH IS VISIBLE ON THE DRIVER'S DOOR

Update: The security guards had found out what time my car came out from my apartment, it was 5:37am according to the CCTV time.
On that time, there was a car infront leading my stolen car, it was a WHITE CAMRY NO. PLATE PHG 313 / 3113 (not clear). Rewind the tape shows that the car came in at 5am without any access card, they came in with a 'pick-up' excuse. Suspect 3 Chinese man

Why was my road tax expired? Because this is one of my old road tax which my dad did not peal off from the windshield, there is a new road tax on the windshield before it was stolen

So, I was in Thailand with my brothers and a few friends few months back. I was roaming with my D postpaid. When I reached Thailand, I called my brother which has a roaming with his M. His battery was dead, and it went voice-mail directly which I didn't even know it was voice-mail because there were no voice! wth rite? so I keep calling. Little did I know that D charged me RM4.50 for a every 'voice-mailed' called.

So, the question is, is it even fair for them to charge like that? I cannot even control if I were to go in to my brothers voice-mail, it just silence for awhile and 'poof' there goes my money.

Data Recovery in Malaysia?

I wonder if there is any data recovery services in Malaysia? I recently had a faulty harddisk which i suspect the read/write head is damaged.
I called seagate and they told me that any private firm could do a data recovery and I can sent in the hard disk back to seagate no matter if its faulty or not as long the private company that done the data recovery could issue a black and white to Seagate.

So i was just wondering if there's any professional data recovery company that could save my data before i sent in my faulty hdd to Seagate, thanks

Hard disk failure

Recently my hard disk (Seagate Barracuda 7200.11) 500G failed to boot up. This drive is an external drive which i save all my back up in it.
I suspect it is the read/write head that cause the failure as I can hear the difference before it was working well.

So, I was wondering what if I send back to the shop, which they will send back to seagate, will they return the same unit back to me with my data in it? Or should I sent to Seagate directly?

The data is the priority.

What to do if I did not meet the requirement?

Is there anything I can do in order to enroll into a programme if I did not meet the requirement? What i've done is I got a recommendation letter from my previous course lecturer.
What are the other things I could do to convince the programme director, thank you in advance.

recommendation for a 42"

My dad had finally decided to change his old bulky tv after for such a long time. He wants to get a 42" as our living room isnt really wide enough to set the tv and sofa apart.
budget will be within 10k probably, with combo set such as blue ray or surround system included. Any brand will be taken into consideration, thanks

PS: purpose of tv is mainly astro, no gaming, sometimes movies (will try to persuade him to watch blue-ray, old man doesnt really know about all these thechy stuffs)

computer keep restarting

I have this Windows XP desktop that keep on restart by itself after trying to load windows. It restart before i could even go in desktop. I had tried pulling out the harddisk to connect to other pc and do a full scan with it, clearing all found virus, but it still does not work. I do not have the windows CD by the way. No BSOD appeared, hardware seems fine.

So is there anything i can do if i were to plug the hard disk to other computer?

Why the foul languages?

Can anybody kindly explain to me why certain movies like 'Pride and Glory', 'Stop loss', 'Street kings' and so on keep saying those f words constantly? It's quite annoying as they keep saying it way too often.
I know these foul language could sometime show the message to the audience that the actor is in anger, but it would be just too irritating sometimes.
Those movies are okay to watch and some are meaningful, but with those vulgar languages, hmm...

MSN not working

Recently my msn couldn't sign in and gave me this error code 81000306, visiting webpages works fine. I've a few computer at home, none is able to connect to msn, and MSN only, visiting webpage, update antivirus and all works fine.

I'm sure its not my computer problem as I've tried signing in my friends place, my account works well.

So I've tried using other modem, and everything works well, so now i can be certain that it is my modem that causes MSN to get that error.

I'm using a D-link DSL-2640T modem router.

I've tried hard reset the modem, even flash and update the firmware of the modem, but it still happens. any idea?

Burning DVD

I'm having some issues burning DVD
I wanna burn a whole season of series which contains 13 episodes of prison break, 4.43GB into a DVD
in the progress of burning, it says i may occur some problems if i burn in into the DVD because its overload
so, is there anyway to cramp the whole season into a DVD? Initially i've thought of converting 1 of the episode to downgrade the quality, but is there any other solutions? thanks

Problem with harddisk

currently i have 2 hdd install in my pc
Seagate 300GB that contains OS(Primary) and Seagate 500GB

i just bought the 500GB recently, and i found some problems with it...

When i'm transferring files into the 500GB, it takes longer than usual, and also when transferring, everything will seems to be laggy
No problems copying files into the 300GB

Help is greatly appreciate

cant log into MSN

whenever i try to log into MSN, it says "Service Temporarily Unavailable Error code: 80070005"
tried google but none of the solution work....
and in the log in menu, all the check box for "Remember me", "Remember my password" and "Sign me in automatically" is faded, in other word, i can't check or uncheck it....
