GCSE O Level Physics

Hi everyone,

May I know what is the complete syllabus of GCSE O Level Physics? If possible can split it into Form 4 and Form 5 respectively?

Is it exactly the same with the normal SPM? Do GCSE students have different reference book, and if yes, where can I get it?

Thanks.

Best SPM Physics Revision Book

For those who are taking SPM or had recently took SPM, what is the best physics revision book after the English transition? I used to have a Fokus Pelangi book back in 2001.

Recommend me one which you think is best, one for complete notes and perhaps one for exercises.

I am going to teach home based tuition on physics, and would like to know more about the current exam system. Is it still dwi bahasa or solely on English?

Thanks!

Accessing serial port

I want to send a string of characters to serial port using MFC.

My previous experience in using serial port is from .net framework, where i just drag the serialport icon on my form and straightaway access its properties. I have some basic knowledge in c++, but only on writing simple console programs (DOS) with only one .cpp file. I currently use MFC app wizard and I dont understand what are all the files generated and how to intepret them.

Can anyone guide me or provide a link to some reading materials on MFC and how to access serial port from MFC? Thanks.

I have accepted a job offer at the Twin Tower starting next month, but is facing a parking issue. My company doesn't provide a parking space, and parking inside KLCC is so expensive. My interview cost me RM8!

May I know where is the most affordable place to park?

Am I suitable to work in your company?

I am a fresh graduate with Master's Degree. My bachelor's degree was in Microelectronics. As I am not young anymore, I wish to find a job that is suitable for me, in terms of job scope and working environment so that I can settle down and work hard to slowly climb the ladder.

I am asking for suggestions / opinions from fellow LYN members on which company / industry should I work for.

My personality and interest:

I like to read and analyze complicated concepts, or to learn a new technology. After analyzing, I would then prefer to put my knowledge to good use by implementing it myself (if it is software related), performing simulations, documenting it, or giving presentations to train others. I do not like to work with hardwares or to go out to sites or factories.

I like to work in a professional environment - English speaking with formal attire. I always dream of working in a modern office.

I work best when I'm at my own, so a personal workplace / cubicle will definitely increase my productivity.

Working as R&D engineer seems like a good path for me. However, most R&D positions are in Penang (Agilent, Intel, Motorola, etc) Is there any R&D opportunities in KL?

To all LYN members, is the company / position that you are working now suitable for me? Thank you for all the kind replies.

In light of the recent hype surrounding Altec Lansing ACS45.1 (refer here), I am curious on whether there is any other legendary PC speakers that stopped production.

[attachmentid=540860]
ACS45.1

It is clear that ACS45.1 is still in very much in demand and are selling like hot cakes. The question is, why do they stopped the production when there is still demand from the market? Is there any other old school all time fav from other brands? Post some reviews and pictures of the model if possible.

If uninstall the software by logitech, my vb.net program could not communicate with the camera anymore.
I wan my vb.net program to work without installing the logitech driver.
Therefore, i think i need to incorporate driver writing to my vb.net program, but have no idea at all in doing so.
Any opinions/guidelines?
