Fight back with

1:
Void with max Bash and dodge (skill 3), using almost the same item as below, except change helm of dominator with mom.

2:
Lina - stun, wave, ultimate (level 2), dagon.

3:
Luna - one ulti and one skill 1 = gg.

4:
TS - stun, lightning, diablic explosion (if no other hero and creep around, troll would take more damage because of diabolic explosion).

5:
PA - bet your critical and dodge...

6:......
Just the matter of skill and combination... troll at this point is not consider really strong...And still got very low life...

A troll with max bash at level 11, with items: power thread, 2 wraith band, helm of dominator can virtually pawn anyone.

just don't let him farm la... if any hero who is able to farm, etc those u guys mentioned... also can beat troll easily.
See like, luna, early game also taufu, but if u let her farms manta and butter, also gg lor.

with my experience n sincere reply, go try on meebo. u can try with ur friend 1 side meebo, 1 side troll, both get almost same range item, u will see who win. ^^

O i found this tactic usefull. It's recommend to have 2 heroes. Usually u need 1 Ranged Hero + Stunner

The Ranked Hero should go In front and keep a distance away from him. Keep harrasing him and when he is coming to you, The stunner should Stun.

Immediately use your Ulti + All shit u have and hope that he will die.
Trust me la, i use Bone fletcher @ Lvl 15, can Tapau him easily.

You just need to use the correct item. Thats all

The only thing scary about troll is his attacking speed. And of coarse the lifesteal he has. So we must counter by slowing him down. Dragon Knight, Drow ranger, Invoker and twin head dragon can counter him. Eye of skadi and Shiva guard is a must. I am not sure who is the best slower in dota... it is up to you to find it up but i had killed troll with dragon knight before. His level is higher than me. Dun forget dragon Knight has a 3.25 stun with 9 sec cooldown only so abuse it.

Of coarse u muz not let him out level u, if he is lvl 21 and u only lvl 16 it will be a different story. Any hero with a higher level is definitely imbalance if compared to lower level heros.

I am disappointed that medusa's ulti and diffusal blade cant remove troll's ulti. I think that is why people are complaining Troll is overpowered. Purge can remove Sven's god's strength, Broodmothers's lifesteal, Ursa's overpowered why can't it remove troll's ulti? I had wrote an email to icefrog. Hope he consider that and change it in the upcoming version.

About Invoker his Ice wall will be useful to slow troll down. Get skadi also.

Not sure if i said thsi but pair Venomancer and Rhasta together.

Veno slow poisons troll, and rhasta voodoo hex, ulti and hold. I doubt troll can win.

The downside to this is if Troll has lothars and surprise attacks rhasta perma bash so rhasta cannot hold, hex or anything. He can recover hp while veno is trying to rape him assuming he can take that much damage.

for me lothar is a must for troll.. not just to avoid intel heroes combo in early game but to backstab/hunt heroes.. troll is one of my fav heroes coz easy to get last hit and deny creep.
guinsoo is the best item to beat troll when he become superpower.. 2 soo in a team GG de
