Hey guys, just wanna know a general number of population on the Kil'Jaeden server.
Thinking of playing on the server but want to know if anyone here is playing there.

Newly formed, casual and nub guild <Lanun> is looking for a few more ppl to fill in its 25-man raiding slots. We do have more than 25 ppl atm, but raid attendance from the first raiding week was still not 100% full guild. We would like to keep it small though and don't intend to have a second 25-man team.

Guild type: Casual & 'Relax la bang'
Raid: Wed-Mon, 10pm-12.30 M'sia S'pore (unscheduled/scheduled raid may start earlier if enough ppl login early)
Members: Majority Malaysian with a few Singaporean, and Aussie
Vent langguage: Malay & English (at least until we teach the 2 aussie and a french to speak malay)
Not looking for: Ret or Prot Pally
High demand: Priest & Range DPS

Progression (1st raiding week):

ToC 10 - full clear (2 grps)
ToGC 10 - N.Beast (that also because Gormok bugged and forever casting ice breath towards one direction) ;]
ToC 25 - Anub not downed (cause we're nub as advertised)
Ony 25 - (took us 2 nights cause first night 1/2 of raid dc during whelp, and nope, no one has gearscore on)
Ony 10 (2 grps)
Ulduar 25 - FL, Raz, Ignis, XT, Kolo, & Aur.
Ulduar 10 - FL, Raz, Ignis, XT(HM), Kolo, Aur, Thorim(HM), Hodir, & Freya
Maly 25 (20 ppl cause not enough online and we accidentally got the achievement)
Naxx 25 (14 ppl cause not enough online and we want to feel like pro) - Spider Wing down
VoA 25
VoA 10

mage pve spec,

i been reading on how to spec my mage best for pve dps and i get a lot of different spec.

some say full fire, some say arcane/fire, and some is fire/arcane. frostfire are also recommended but a lot said that it's rather weak for pve.

any mage players? suggestions?

should i go heavy on arcane or fire instead?

Need Help, Trial Account Upgrade Failure

Hello everyone.

I'm new to the WoW. After playing with the trial account and liking it, I decided to upgrade to standard account. I purchase it digitally (at Blizzard's site, using a debit card)

At first it was okay, I can login and play. But today I couldn't login. Blizzard sent me an email saying my Trial Account upgrade had failed. Now they are totally locking me out of my account

I've called my card centre and they say that the payment is still being processed. In Blizzards email they stated that I can only call them (US? How much will it cost?) to rectify this issue. They can't help me through emails

What should I do? I really like to game and want to continue playing. Have any of you guys had this problem before?

Looking for opinions. Is it worth getting the G13 for WoW? I'm afraid that once I get it, I'll just end up going back to a regular keyboard. The G15 regular gaming keyboard is only slightly more expensive so I'm wondering if I should just get that and forget bout this. Anyone here currently using this?

Ive been trying (well kind of) to quit WoW like forever, but in the end i will always come back rolling my face on the keyboard and pew pew away.

My account have been frozen intact for the fourth consecutive time now for like 7 month naow (grats!), but recently i am finding myself missing the werld... of warcraft. I am back to trolling the WoW forum, MMO-C, EJ and those sort. Ive even slowly in the dark accumulating mods after mods and ui... now i see that withdrawing again for the fourth time (lol?) is imminent. I am so going to see my face rolling the keyboard again Soon™.

This happen a few days ago, i merge my account with b.net and somehow out of my own stupidity(maybe unconsciously idiotic piece of crazy mindfcuked stupid brain damage of mine) bought the 60 days pre-paid card. oh how obvious!. Ive stopped WoW four times before, once three month before TBC launch, come back during the TBC launch for the lulz then quit again a month later because TBC is teh suxxor. re-roll during S1/S2 arena with a friend on a different server on a different account, quit again at the end of S2 due to study. I roll back to my old ~~server~~ realm two month before WotLK hit shelves and quit again in february also due to study and some less intelligent housemate of mind wrecking havoc all around the infinity ward (lol IW sucks) and make us move to a new house w/o interwebz connection.

Naow on my hand i got a merged account, still frozen. a sucky internet connection (lol celcom broadband) which pretty much going to change come december (yay! shitmyx) and a 60-days prepaid card.

what should i do?
1. Be an hero, topap naow and suffer
2. Be a lesser hero, wait for december, topap and still suffer
3. Sell the prepaid away (but it was gleaming with the "my preciousssssssssss" quote)
4. /wrist

TL:DR.

Need ideas for running a Wow guild,

Ok i just quit from my guild vereor.

So now i am recruiting a bunch of people to get 10mans and 25s going in a guild i just created on my own. Sadly this is the classes/players i have so far in my new guild.

1 Pally tank (myself)

1 Warrior tank (he is almost geared but probably not able to tank Toc10)

1 Mage (geared and good player)

1 Warlock (Alt character. This is the warrior's alt. Pretty geared.)

1 Death Knight (Alt character not geared. This is my mage friend from a different guild)

1 Rogue (suspected he bought his account from Ebay. Seems non-commital.)

1 Priest healer(Not that well geared also not much experience)

1 Paladin healer (He is geared. Tends to balk if asked to do content he isn't interested in from my past experiences with him.)

So right now i am the GM with no officers. Our current setup is guild raids on Friday and Saturdays only since i only can come on these days if i was to raid with my American guildys. Looking at starting raids @ 7pm Server time.

Loot rules hasn't been made official, but i was thinking about need/greed mixed with loot council. Priority will be going to gearing out the tanks first. Also tank trinkets automatically go to me since that is all i am missing. Everything else is free rolls.

Because we don't have many members, i have send out communication to other guilds for joint raids. So far no replies yet

The next step i will be doing is drafting some guild rules so people know what to expect and not later down the road only discover rules not mentioned which will cause problems later on. E.g. guild invites is based on merit on how good you perform and your gear, and invites are based on the GMs opinion and no debate is allowed :/

Any comments and suggestions what i can do to improve the guild?

Hi, since starting playing WoW I've been playing in Jubei'thos server since day one. However, recently a few of my friends will be starting WoW and from my observation Jubei isn't a newbie friendly place anymore (4600gs for Ony25, and they'll kick a tank with 30k hp unbuffed for heroics, and most people will just rage quit after a wipe in any Heroic or Raid. I feel like Jubei players ain't patient anymore after WOTLK was released). So thought wanna recommend them another Oceanic server and transfer my priest as well to help them.

So want to ask which Oceanic server (ally or Horde currently has the best server 'culture') is erm...newbie friendly now? Thanks.

Class Dilemma, Again, Mage or Paladin

Hey guys, I'm planning to start Wow all over again.
As usual I'm having class dilemma again.
I wanna roll a BE so I'm considering either a Paladin or a Mage.
I have never played a Tank before (my previous toon was a lv70 pre WotlK Hunter) and I thought of trying one. Can Paladins be main tanks? Another thing is I think pallies armor sets are a lil ugly. They all look like power rangers.
I'm considering a Mage because I think they're armor sets look pretty cool but I heard they're difficult to solo group quests and I'm gonna be playing another DPS class.

Advice please?
