Hi, I am looking around for 2.1 and 5.1 speaker, but not sure which one is suitable to play for PS3 game with LCD TV.

Please give me some advise, if
Around RM 400 for 2.1
and 5.1 speaker with less than RM 1K

Would like to ask something about S550, S550D and S750

Is the S550D is differ by S550 by the Input option, does the S550D has DTS (or only DolbyDigital) and what is the digital input of S750D and S550D (does it have Coaxial and Optical, or just the Optical)?

Oh, and what price is 750D and 550D in malay (or is it available, coz I saw the 750 on exhibition last time), and where to get it in Subang/ Sunway?

previously looking for logitech z2300 but getting bad comments about it ... stick to Edifier == , erm can consider I am m3300 user because I listen to sister m3300 if she wasnt using ...bought a Xonar U1 external USB card ( using laptop )recently.

only C3 and S330 is within my price range , Rm500 , which is the maximum budget , but I heard C3 wasnt good enough ?

1) M3300 clarity is my minimum requirement of clarity. If I want a speaker , either the clarity same as m3300 or better than it ...so both of them better than m3300 ?? in term of clarity , C3 VS S330 which is better ?

2) in term of bass , I need a bass better than m3300 , the bass is TOO SOFT , muddy ~~~~ C3 or S330 ? make your choice and explain bass difference of your choice compare to M3300.

3) now I already got Xonar U1 soundcard which has build amps in , can use with C3 amps == ?? really no idea

still cant decide after survey for few days , hope this thread can help me ... will get on this end of month

Funny problem with my Edifier M2300,

I have this Edifier M2300 (bought in PC Fair last year, still under warranty) which is connected to a Belkin Surge Protector. One day while using the speaker, suddenly I heard some "pok pok pok" sound coming from the speaker. Then the speaker turned off and cannot be turned on already.

I was thinking, either the surge protector or the speaker spoil already. Then I connected the speaker to the wall directly and the speaker can work. But when I connected it to the surge protector, the speaker does not turn on. I thought the surge protector must have spoiled. Since Belkin surge protector have lifetime warranty, I went and swap the surge protector for a new one.

Same thing, when the speaker is connected to the surge protector, it does not turn on. Connect directly to the wall, it will work.

What should I do? Did the "pok pok pok" sound damaged some component and Belkin surge protector will not supply power to the speaker for safety reason?

I am in the cross road to decide either to get a Edifier S530D or AEGO M for my 13 " Mac Aluminium and paired the speakers with Airport Express .

Any comments from all the sifu here ?

P/S : the Airport Express can use 3.5mm Toslink output , if i am not wrong S530D has the optical input as well ?

my edifier m3300 already serve me for 1.5 year and still running smoothly. But my audio jack of my remote cable is spoil n make my left hand side of speaker no sound. May i ask where to buy the cable only?

HELP! M3300,

I have been using my M3300 for 2 and a half year. It has always been performed very very well.
Until recently, loud buzzing sound can be heard everytime i start my pc and speaker.
but the sound lasts for a few minutes and then the speakers become normal again.
i've tried to reconnect all the wire. still, the problem is still there.
anybody can help with my problem??

hi my speaker suddenly not working, everything just look fine but no sound out from the speaker, when i plug in headset, the headset is working. do you know what is the problem? is it bcos one of the component damage?

i bought this speaker on 17/1/08, does it still under warranty period? i bought it from C-Zone@low yat but now i move to Penang already, where can i send my speaker to repair in penang island?
