Windows 7 on Mac Book, Is the performance any good?

Hey all,

I'm going to be getting a Macbook pro 15".

2.66 GHz
4 GB ram
2x 256 NVDIA GEFORCE graphics
320 Disk space
etc,etc,

I wanna know if Windows 7 works well through BootCamp on the Macbook. Any ideas?

Windows wont start, system file corrupt

happened today after a normal run 12hours before. this message came after booting up and it tries load windows. im on xp sp3.

Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt.
\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM
You can attempt to repair this file by starting Windows Setup using the original Setup CD-ROM.
Select 'r' at the first screen to start repair.

when i did so, it asked me which to select something with '1. C\WINDOWS' so i typed '1' and typed administrator password and it asked me which to repair. til then, i dont know what command to type.

anyone can help fixing this problem?

the last time it i worked normally, nothing weird happened.

hi all,

i am looking for a way to manage my inventories at my car lot. i find it tough to keep handling calls from my sales people everytime they need some sort of information about the cars.
anyone knows any software or method out there that can help me do so?

what i need should be able to help me keep track of incoming cars, status of cars on hold (loan, insurance, jpj, etc..) , and outgoing cars as well (sold, destination, invoice..).

hope someone could help me out here!

Requirements :

Instructions :
1 Extract the contents of chromium_os_usb.zip somewhere
2 Launch Win32DiskImager.exe (Windows). If you get Error 8 when you launch, ignore it. It's looking for a floppy that isn't there. The project page for this nifty little program is here: https://launchpad.net/win32-image-writer
3 Browse to the image file (should be in the same place as Win32DiskImager.exe) and select it.
4 Write the image to a USB drive. You will need a 4GB USB drive. Please be aware that when you write to the drive, IT WILL ERASE ALL CONTENTS.
5 Boot a machine with the USB drive. Your BIOS will need to allow booting from USB. F8 or F12 in many BIOSes will bring up a boot menu, where you can select the USB drive.
6 When the login screen comes up, login with "chronos" and "password" (no quotes).
7 Click the Chrome OS sphere in the upper left, and log in with your Google Account.
8 Enjoy the preview of Chromium OS!

Dear Lowyat forum's "si fu" and "si mo",

I've a problem here which might interest you. =) (I hope so =p)

I wish to write a program using c or creating a batch file to do this is it possible?

I need to:

1) Open Mozilla Firefox browser
2) Type in a url (eg. imeem.com)
3) Select a song from the playlist
3) Wait for the song to finish loading
4) Open a new tab (the 2nd tab)
5) Type "about:cache?device=memory" into the url bar
6) Seach for the key with flv files in it
7) Select the respective key
8) Go to "file" in the Mozilla menu tab and select work offline
9) Go back to the 2nd tab and select the key link
10) Go to "file" in the Mozilla menu and select "Save Page As..."
11) Type in a random name (e.g. "testing.flv")
12) Change the format into "All Files"
13) Save it.
14) Lastly, repeat steps 1 to 13 (except for 11 to change the name to "testing2.flv)

Remove Duplicated Song Files, need the software

I got a lot of song files in my computer.and there's a lot same & identifically songs.
this really consume my hard disk space.

I've used the iTunes using The Exorcist add on but it only delete duplicated songs in the library viewer,NOT the real file.
I've used software named Remove Duplicate Songs v7.39 but i dont have the patch to crack it.
So...

Can any of you recommend any other easy,simple user interface,freeware software to delete duplicated song files?
OR..
Can any of you give the link to download the patch of Remove Duplicated Songs v7.39?

Anyone who has used a POS system quickbooks can you please tell me is there a way to add different colours to a specific clothing but still maintain the same code? or must every different attribute have a different code?

As in same design clothing but two differnet colours has to be code 1 and 2? Instead of both being code 1 but having the chance to choose different colours when customer is about the purchase.
