Linux... All Types, The Special is?

Hi there, i was wondering on the availability of all this diff versions and types of Linux.

I have used/tried:
Ubuntu 7/8
Fedora 8/10/11
Suse 10/11
CentOS 5.3
Solaris 10

I used this linux for surfing net, as its the safest and i don need antivirus, but some of this linux have prob in using the browsers. most of it comes with firefox, and i notice the speed of loading the google is slow in certain linux, like the suse 11.1. I used ethernet for direct connect and my speed is fixed, so trying in diff linux and windows revealed diff speed for the browser to load the page.
Im not realy sure what makes the diff..

And some are cool and some is just normal. But i have this quest for you all, Which is the BEST Linux OS from all the available types of Linux?

here are some links on all LINUX available curently: CLICK HERE

So, may be u all can share some info regarding this. All comments are welcomed.

I'd like to know what is the best adsl modem/router to connect to streamyx. I realise that it shouldn't matter what operating systme one uses; but I'd like to hear from Linux users who have an opinion as to what is the best modem. Quality of construction and ease of use more important to me than price.
