I fulfilled ALL the requirements as stated to get the OCBC Titanium MasterCard and there are absolute NO reason for OCBC to reject my application based on my records alone. Furthermore, I am a good paymaster for my hire purchase and all my other credit cards as seen from the scanned copy of the CCRIS that I had attached. I was not blacklisted for anything and you could verify with CTOS if you need to.

I would like to appeal your decision because I feel I have underlying facts that would make you reconsider. I trust my appeal will be looked at more favourably than my original application.

Please spend a few moments looking at the additional information attached with my appeal.
UOB cheated us., Thread Closed - Speculative Info

I got to know that UOB staff, Rakesh Balwandi who is appointed to do the porsche contest has his own side business outside. He selected his business partner, James Lee Char Yew to be the daily cash prize winner. And guess what? Of course he also selected the business partner's wife, How Eng Hwa to be the porsche winner!!! Now I get suspicious with all the UOB contests. How many staff are involved in this?? Could all in the picture have hand in it? See the link below....

http://thestar.com.my/metro/story.asp?file...531&sec=central

Can you believe that? We use UOB cards hoping to get a fair chance and now it's time we should all stop using UOB credit cards. WE WANT JUSTICE!!!!! WE WANT FAIR DEALING!!!!

If u wish to win any contest by UOB, forget about being their card member! Start planning to work in UOB instead!

Let's stop using UOB cards. I feel so cheated and lost all my trust. I am going to ask all my family members and friends to cancel their card. And I want everyone of you to know the truth too! Cancel UOB and go to other more trusted banks!

Public Bank issued a Credit Card,

My girlfriend recently took a loan to buy her first car and yesterday when she went to sign the loan agreement, the worker told her that she is been issued a CC. My girlfriend asked if it's possible not to take it but the person said it's a package.

Now since I'm new in this, I'm wondering is it a common practice in issuing a CC when a person took up a car loan?

Suitable Credit Card For Me,

Hi,

Im wondering what suitable credit card for me to do my oversea online shopping? I'm a student and previously I did oversea online shopping (mainly in the US) using debit card and i find it very tedious keeping track with the Pre-Auth. Sometimes when i cancel my item i have to wait it refund like forever. I scared the bank will cheat me. So here are some of the criteria

Criteria
1. It would be great if it can accept Ebay (Paypal only allow address from US, so Ebay is my off limits)
2. Low oversea transaction fees. I thought of getting AmEx but i saw the 2.5% charges compared to Maybank Visa 0.5%. Im not sure if this still stands or not because the thread in LYN stating this was quite old
3. Pump petrol? I heard AmEx is great with points. Not sure about others though
4. No annual fee?
5. Only from Maybank and CIMB

I won't be using this credit card for normal outside shopping or dining though.

Need some input right now since im quite confuse with all these credit cards

Thanks in advanced

[addedon]March 11, 2012, 3:51 pm[/addedon]Edit: I guess i'll need my parents signature if I want to apply right? Since there's like a minimum income to apply credit card?

Hi guys,

Scenario :-

Receiving letter regarding credit card court summons asking to attend court (if failed to attend might get default judgement against the defendant)

How long will the summos info appear in CTOS record? Or will it appear at all?

If settle the outstanding before the judgement obtained, will the summons still appear in CTOS?

The question if received court summons, when will the summons appear in our CTOS?

credit card foreign exhange, base on what?

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to ask.Lets say i want to buy something from Amazon.com . Since they will be charging me in US dollars i would like to know what the banks are using to determine the foreign exchange rate when using credit cards for payment.Do all banks follow one rate using bank negara on that current day or do individual banks have their own rates of charging? Where can i see the rates for example if im using CIMB credit card for payment so i can get the bang for my buck for the exchange rates.
